Wow, Pat Summerall thinks Parcells might coach again

I think San Diego is the only job he would take that could be offered to him. Giants don't want him.

Yeah and look at all the horse tracks within reach: Del Mar, Hollywood Park, Santa Anita, Los Alamitos, and the fall fair meets.

It's be like heaven. :)

Parcells would make Tomlinson change his running style.........
Not to mention he would handcuff all the defensive players. :lmao:

Richie Anderson will come out of retirement.

And Eugene Robinson will come down to get him oriented as to where the best "after hour" activities take place down here. :D

+ He'll make LT run like a robot.

Think he would still bring Jim Burt in for motivational support, but not allow former players to visit the facility?

At his age with his money, go enjoy life, travel, go fishing, golfing, or find any hobby or a fine looking wench. Why live stressful life with what is remaining in your lifecycle?

you amaze me, you consistently say the wrong things

And to make that statement, you set yourself up as one who decides what is right and what is wrong?
Puhleeeeese!
Let me know what I can say, then, Mr. Know it All.
And if you know everything, why does your sign-on name translate to "Take Hand Out"?
:D

Old man Pat always pumped up the Giants and deflated the cowboys. Must have been all that Jesus juice he imbibed before he rehabbed.
Summy, Parcells, all Giant homers.

I could see him in a GM role, but judging from recent history, I think the game has passed him (and Gibbs) by.

Not passed by. I feel he is not flexable enough to coach a top flight team.

Bending his play calling to fit the personell to take full advantage of the best players out there.

Parcells? What a joke? I hope he goes to the Giants. This is the same Parcells who "didn't want TO." Can you imagine this team without TO. When Parcells got here he wanted to get rid of Flozell. JJ and others talked Parcells into keeping him. Parcells is the same guy who gave us the Vinny and Drew show. Parcells was sky high on Marcus Spears, wanted to draft him ahead of Ware.

Please go to the Giants. Eli will get worse. Plax will throw more than a T-shirt at you. And Parcells can play all the games close to the vest and try to win it in the 4th on a FG. Oh yeah, and the all-important special teams.

Parcells is a joke. Look what this team is doing without him! Same players, different coach! And I give much more(most) credit to Jeff Ireland and Jerry Jones for finding the players than Parcells.

And if Parcells should go to the Giants, do the Cowboys get any draft picks as compensation? That would be sweet.

I don't know where you're getting this from but it's not from anything that was reported at the time to my recollection. Parcells never wanted to get rid of Adams. On the contrary, BP always said that left tackles don't grow on trees and decided to stay with Adams, flaws and all. Can it be a coincidence that Adams had his best year(s) after BP arrived? And Jerry talking him out of getting rid of Adams is non-sense; Parcells got rid of Emmitt and Larry Allen, both HOFers whom Jerry was extremely loyal to and helped Jerry get rings. So the idea that Jerry (and others) talked BP out of anything regarding Adams, who was an underachiever, is absurd.

I remember it clearly. It was spoken right from Parcells' mouth. He clearly said he wanted to get rid of Flo when he arrived and was talked into keeping him. This was a couple of years after BP came and Flo was playing pretty good. BP was actually praising Flo on how well he had been playing. And Parcells admitting he was wrong about Flo.

Sorry Ninja, but you're wrong on this one.

In fact, it was the exact opposite. Flo was one of the guys Parcells was intent on keeping.
