You're quantifying "small pushes" so that it's more favorable to the Commanders. That's fine, on a Skins site. But it's just not realistic. You won a playoff game in 98 or something - woo-hoo. almost a decade ago, with a completely different regime. Recent history suggests the Dallas Cowboys have a much better direction than the Commanders. A weak playoff victory followed by a plunge into crappiness, with no picks in rounds 2-4, players traded for - given contracts they don't deserve, FA busts, and a mess of a coaching staff isn't direction.
Clearly few Commanders fans would trade messes, because of the jersey colors involved. But when you're talking about a direction a team is going in, and opportunity for progress, bringing up the last decade's playoff history isn't all that relevant. One team has a direction, even if it's not reached it's potential yet, and the other keeps flinging crap at the wall. It is clear to everyone not blinded by the ketchup and mustard which organization is better run, and better staffed, from the top down.
