The first day of OTA practices saw a setback from a player looking to compete at the receiver position.

Fifth-round pick Danny Coale suffered an apparent foot injury. He was seen leaving the Cowboys’ MRI center Tuesday afternoon with a heavy-wrap around his foot and crutches.

Let's not worry until we know what's wrong; also remember it is just late May. Hopefully it's nothing more then a sprain or maybe somebody stepped on his foot. He's got about 2 mos to recover. Just chill out.

It's a yearly thing with our rookies. It wouldn't feel right if they didn't get decimated with injuries.

No cast, so this is probably some sort of sprain. An MRI for diagnosis would seem par for the course for a sprain to determine severity.

I suppose the worst case is a ruptured Achilles, in which case an MRI could certainly be used to confirm the diagnosis.

That is the worst part. If it was vet the time missed is not a big issue when you are a rookie trying to make the team any time you miss is a bigger setback. Given that camp is a couple of months out I'm sure he will be ready to go but in the meantime these sessions they are having are important.
