Poor Falling Star...so sad, to bad. :D

His attitude would drive me to the insane asylum...!

I was just busting his balls lol

I had a couple of tissues handy when Mark Barron wasn't drafted.

That sucks.

Hopefully he works on picking up the mental aspect while down. Most high-profile rookie WRs usually have a tough learning curve to begin with but they are able to get by on ability alone.

Archer says Coale's foot is broken and will require surgery.
He speculated that Coale will miss the early part of TC.

i'm certainly going to have to reevaluate my prediction of 14-2 if this keeps up.

IRVING, Texas – Danny Coale will need surgery to repair a broken left foot suffered in Tuesday’s organized team activity at Valley Ranch, according to a source.

The surgery means Coale could miss the early part of training camp, which will begin in the final week of July. Cowboys’ rookies, quarterbacks and injured veterans are scheduled to practice for a few days before the team leaves for Oxnard, Calif., on July 28.

Coale, the Cowboys’ fifth-round pick, suffered the injury toward the end of the first OTA and limped off the field. He underwent an MRI at the team’s facility. Surgery is scheduled for later this week.

Coale is one of a handful of receivers the Cowboys are looking at to fill the vacant No. 3 spot behind Miles Austin and Dez Bryant, but missing the OTAs and June minicamp will hurt. Coale’s absence will give Kevin Ogletree, Dwayne Harris, Raymond Radway and Andre Holmes more of an opportunity to secure the third wide receiver role.

He is the third Cowboys draft pick who will miss the entire offseason because of surgery. First-round pick Morris Claiborne is recovering from left wrist surgery performed before the draft, and while he expressed hope he could take part in the minicamp the team will be cautious with his return. Linebacker Kyle Wilber, a fourth-round pick, suffered a fractured right index finger in the rookie minicamp and will not be ready until training camp.

There are mobile CTs and MRs out there. I don't know if in Texas you have to have a certificate of need for one. Or who may own it and who supervises the medical aspects of one. My guess is they own their own machine on site or it is mobile and they own it.

That sucks.

At least it is April. Had this happened in training camp, he'd be out for the year on IR.

lol, this is what it took for you to realize 14-2 is unreasonable?

Hmm....Why own an MRI instead of just buying immediate access to it for a fee from the local diagnostic imaging company?

I suppose they could set up an MRI and then do them for the public and give preferential access to Cowboys players but it would seem easier to me just to have an agreement with some place close to the stadium and practice facilities.

coale being healthy definitely plays a role in my prediction though.

he is going to be special..

mike renfro special with better stats...but same toughness and skill.

I agree with you totally. I really think he has strong potential to be an all time Cowboy favorite production and person wise. Can't believe I'm saying that about one that has never played a down in the NFL. I also think Matt Johnson has a good chance to be special. I've got to slow down, I'm getting way ahead of the game.

yes ...matt johnson is another of our many draft picks that looks impressive.

his read and recognition skills are very impressive to say the least.

great tackler as well.

@RapSheet
Was told earlier #Cowboys WR Danny Coale's injury was minor. Specifically: Broken 5th metatarsal in his foot, I'm told. Month-long injury

It was explained to me that this is the shaft of your little toe, so it appears it wouldn't be anything that that could be career threatening, in that it continues to reoccur. If it does, cut it off. One can play football without a little toe, can't they??

The Cowboys own their own medical facility. There used to be a link on dc.com but I can't find it anymore.

......I had that injury as a kid! I jumped into a swimming pool in the deep end feet first, not realizing it was only about 5 and a half feet deep: snapped two of my toes on the end of my foot in half: I was as good as new in a month.....slight discomfort but nothing to worry about. Seriously guys, this is GOOD news. I first read he broke his foot and I was like :bang2: ....but its really no big deal trust me.
