Why? Watch his highlight videos on youtube and then watch Danny Coale's. Anyone can see that Coale's is much more impressive. Albeit Coale needs to get and stay healthy. Hopkins reminds me of a Dwayne Harris clone. We already have the original.

It's possible they will draft another WR early. Broadus mentioned that WR could be a surprise pick early and his latest mock that I just put up in the draft zone has us taking Hunter in the second. Last year was all about defense and if this draft is about the offense JG may feel they do need a top WR like the Falcons did when they took Julio Jones.

If Hunter falls to us in the second then we should consider that pick strongly. It certainly wouldn't be a bad pick and in fact if they have him as a first round pick then he'd be a bit of a steal there. I think he'll go in the last half of the first or upper second though. It's rare to get a guy with his speed and explosiveness who is also 6-4. He's back from his injury and may prove to be the better of the two TN WRs. In fact you could argue he's the best pick of the class IMO.

You may be right about Coale but Hopkins is taller at 6-1 and a little faster than Harris. Hopkins is an outside guy IMO. Hopkins has a knack for going up and getting the ball as well. Harris doesn't have that ability to take a ball away from a closely guarding defender. In fact I think that's Hopkins best pro asset as he's not that fast nor tall.

Hopkins would be fantastic value, and those "slapping their foreheads" are clueless.

He s gone before we pick anyways. Same for T. Williams

QOC - quality of competition.

He faced no one in the ACC and new era scouts are factoring in all kinda saber metrics when evaluating players.

I have lot of connects at Clemson, have hung out with Boyd, Watkins, Hopkins and a slew more. With that said he comes from a family completely immersed in the 'dope boy' culture and he just doesn't burn DBs if you know what I mean.

Maybe in the 3rd but we don't need WRs, Romo could make Reality go for a 1,000 yards.

The ACC is not the SEC, but no conference is. But to use that conference as one that does have great players is really nuts. Compared to who?
The NFL is loaded with ACC players.
Florida st, Clemson, VaTech, UNC, Miami, BC, ga Tech, NC St, etc....the league is full of players from these schools.

What WOULD concern me is if a player runs with a dope crowd ...regardless of conference.

LSU ain't too shabby. In Chick-Fil-A bowl last year Sammy Watkins (Clemson's #1WR) got hurt on the very first play. Nuk (Hopkins nick-name) had a good game.

Another possibility is Terrance Williams. He's been invited to Valley Ranch and our WR coach visited his college. Mayock has him as his sixth best receiver at 53 on his top 100.

With the recent allegations of WR's DeAndre Hopkins and Mark Harrison trashing a hotel room, would you draft Hopkins the 47th overall pick, assuming he slides a bit?

I'm just trying to get a consensus, because he reminds me of Roddy White, but if the character issues don't check out well, I doubt Garrett would push for the guy.

Yay or nay?

When your spending the money we are on the first 2 wr's, i wouldn't pick another one that high if he is not a one or two!!

Dez Bryant's 2013 salary: $2,926,000

Miles Austin's restructured 2013 salary: $3,588,400

I'm 99.9% sure this will be Austin's last year as a Cowboy, unless he takes a hefty pay cut.

We aren't putting as much money into WR's that you think we are.
