Woods is like the Bears' Eddie Jackson... not quite prime ET, but a very good FS.

Problem is we don't have a starting SS on the roster... I think Iloka has always been average now he's old. Donovan Wilson maybe?
I was hoping the Cowboys would steal Eddie Jackson. He was a playmaker at Alabama until he got injured. I thought we would do a "second round special" to get him. :banghead:

@xwalker , I hope some of the responses do not persuade you into not posting these types of threads. The superimposing imagery is a very good idea. That said I would also hope you expand upon the concept to include run plays, linebacker stunts, etc. No one outside the players and coaches know exactly what is happening after any snap, and it is just preseason, but it is also highly interesting discussing the what ifs.
At least he's giving us something different than the endless "When is Zeke coming back" "We should trade Zeke" "Zeke probably would get suspended anyway" threads.

We need someone to take over in the box from Heath. Seems like something Wilson could do. I'm more than fine with Heath in zone coverage. Heath makes plays there.

Also, I think Stephen was asked about Eric Berry, and said they were monitoring his situation. Still a possibility. Maybe they want to see how Wilson is in the box first. Or see what else pops us. Frazier and Iloka are totally cuttable, IMO.

Are we that bored? No offense X, but why are we even debating an int that means nothing at all? It’s like 6 days into camp. I don’t get it. Whatever an int happened during training camp

Heath is terrible in zone when he's asked to play cover 2

He's ok in quarters I guess

Heath is actually great single high. It's what he's best at. Has the speed and the read to break on plays. He's fine in cover 2 as well.

As long as the play is kept in front of him, he's good. He has problems when they drop him in close and he has to flip his hips.

He's not "fine" in cover 2. So many examples over the years of him AND a corner getting beat deep down the sideline (which should never happen in cover 2) for a long play and/or touchdown.

For those of you who don’t research:

Good Interception: If there can ever be one, then it must take place in training camp as a teaching tool. That is how new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore describes Woods’ pick of Dak Prescott on Tuesday to 105.3 The Fan Wednesday morning. “Good it happened,” Moore said, pointing out the value of the teaching point for Dak and intended wide receiver Randall Cobb. Both apologized to the other for the pick, blaming themselves. But as Moore pointed out, with that particular coverage either Dak has to go somewhere else or Cobb has to cut off his route. Hey, that’s why they call these sessions practice.

What are we even arguing about?

Lot of excuses offered for Dak. This thread. The Pollard overthrow. It's hilarious.
