was he complaining? i think he said the biggest problem was the injury to romo. i think alot of u are full of ****. thinking u people know how to put a team together then jerry. but not everybody is gonna have the same opinions
Guess you missed the part about his not being used correctly.
Before you even go there, no need to pull out the transcript to tell me how his words were taken out of context.
The major point is what he said himself "if I say something, everyone will say I'm complaining." If it's not about you and you say from the beginning of the interview that if you say something, you know it'll come across as a negative, don't do the interview. Simple. Question of priorities, but nothing new with Owens. And again, this was after a WIN, out biggest win of the year to date.
Yes, I'm repeating myself but it's that important. Team struggling and on the brink, get a tough win, and then Owens does an interview saying he's not being used properly or getting the ball enough.
Yeah, he's ALL about team. As long as he gets his touches.
As far as putting a team together, there are some time-tested truths. Very elementary, in fact. Hire a coach, let him hire his staff and allow them to create a winning culture and atmosphere. Do not interfere with his managing of the players you hired him to coach, allow him to dole out discipline and enforce rules as he deems fit.
Finally, do not force players who have a history of being knuckleheads on your team and back them over your organization or team when they do what they have always done and are the reason they are available to begin with.
