It's never been more clear why you are here. Thanks for removing all doubt. BTW, if you ever do decide to contribute something meaningful or insightful, I'd be glad to read that too.

Just breaking it down into it's simplest form. I can see why you would not like it once the absurdity is pointed out.

Thanks for more insight into the levels on which you think. And that's absurdity "in your opinion."

Oh yeah, and thanks for another great meaningful post.

Best you got? Thanks. Oh, I know...you don't want to get banned again.

There's no way to work up to a banning in this weak exchange.

Yet another player says there are problems in the locker room that involve owens directly or indirectly and you being a man of your word;)
still argue he isn't a problem.

What player are you referring to?

Witten who said he wanted hm back? Or Romo? Who do you mean?

You call it weak. I call it amusing watching you try to work up something that has nothing to do with what was posted as you do all over the board.

Come on....you can even have the last word.

Hey we know he's no problem....that's why Jerry is doing his little "in-house" poll to see whether the other players have a problem with him.

Just another example of our brilliant GM and his handiwork. "Hmmm..TO might be a problem...let me ask the other players. Ask the HC? What's that?"

Is Witten lying? Why would he say he wants him back?

Hey I answered you in the Roy thread, you seemed to disappear when things got explained. Any reason?

RG: Could you have had TO on your teams?
Reeves: Hard to say, I don't know him, but some coaches on my staffs in the past swear by him, say he's such a hard worker. My chiropractor knows him and loves him. He's very emotional and needs to learn to be part of a team.

Seems obvious from that quote that Wade likes him, if you ask me.

Ed Werder is still waiting for a lot of Cowboy fans to apologize.....

He can keep on waiting. I have yet to see anything that makes his story look true.

I'm still waiting for Mr. Blue Suit to apologize for telling us that Parcells was going to retire in '03, '04, and '05, that Keith Davis is dead, that Terrell Owens was crying after the Bengals game because he wasn't getting his touches and the plethora of other stories he's gotten dead wrong about the Cowboys.

Maybe you want to read that quote again before you choose it to make your point. I gave you an assist....

That's Dan Reeves' outsider perspective. All of his insider stuff tells him differently, and that's what's important about that quote.

I am sure Tony would rather throw to his old roommate then win games....

This is not the way athletes work. They may fist fight because they dislike each other but they don't try to play with lesser talent over anger.

I expect players to tell Jerry they need Terrell Owens to be a better team mate and to take direction but I do not expect them to tell him they can't play with the guy. The fact Jerry is calling players over coaches tells me T.O. stays.

Any player who says he can't play with another to me would be a red flag in a huge way. If winning is the ultimate goal then someone being a baby or an idiot shouldn't derail you from doing your job to win; as long as they perform in the game that is all that should matter. That's why players will always say so and so shouldn't be suspended or treated too harshly for any and all actions until it is clear a guy is gone.

Very true words.

Bottom line, you win with talent. Maybe in the magical land where Rudys reign supreme you can win with good feelings but that crap doesn't fly in the NFL.

Still, there is a reason Jones had almost no competition when he signed Owens. And Owens, at that point, was a younger player. You guys suggesting the league almost universally passed on the opportunity to sign Owens because they thought he lacked talent?

Sources say that among the issues players are having with Owens is his refusal to talk to other players on offense and acknowledge them in the huddle, in the locker room or at other team functions.

If this is true ... Owens is simply too immature to be a team player.

No point in keeping someone around who can't be a team player.
