Just a question. Why do so many believe this false narrative? This has happened 1 time in 4 starts this year. The other 3 times he's passed for similar or more yards than dak in week 1. And before you say he has never thrown for 300 yards....he did against minnesota last year.

I hope not.. I want to win and I want it to be by leaning on the defense and the running game. If Rush goes off it will basically be the same scenario we saw after the New England game last year when the running game was stymied and Dak threw for 400+ and 3 TDs. It was all the excuse Moore needed to go back to being his pass 'em silly self. Other than the blowout games we never got back to the balance we had seen in the 4 games leading up to New England. Nobody wants that.. Well except maybe Moore and Dak.

I want to run the ball as well but unless Dallas backs Philly off the line they will not back off, running is great but too many 3 and outs and Dallas would be in trouble. You can't just ignore the passing game. In the end I don't care if Rush has 200 or 400 yards of passing whatever they need to win the game.

For the simple fact that he hasn't been lighting up the stat sheet with his passing, the eagles may play the run heavily which will lead Rush available to hopefully put up form nice numbers through the air.

I am guessing 270+ yards and 2+ TDs

If Rush wins this game he has earned the right to start. Especially if he does it with some solid 3rd down throws and high quality TD passes. I don't care about 300 or 400 yards passing because that means nothing if your not converting 3rd downs and your kicking field goals.

I know he’s cerebral enough to make the right reads but can he push the ball with authority?, especially in inclement weather when a big arm is required…….not saying he can’t do it but I’ll have to see him get through adversity.

Yep...we have to see him get roughed up a bit. Was close last game....but the defense certainly is helping him stave off adversity. May not always happen. Keep up the great work Cooper Rush!

Well except it IS getting it done. I know...teams change from one season to the next. And, some of the best teams don;t get jived until they gel later in the season....but....

you can;t change the fact those were the two Super Bowl teams...and a good divisional rival. It might SEEM precarious with those stats....but those teams are no slouches!

Nice. I would have thought that the other pro Dak guys would feel the same way. You're able to express this because there's no doubt in your mind that Dak will be back and is the better QB

No doubt! A field goal fest does nothing for Rush.
He needs to play this game like the Giants game.
Make key throws and lead the team to TDs.

That is the fair assessment, and we need to see Rush pushed in that situation and how he responds.
The eagles will offer that pressure situation, and the perfect environment to launch the perfect storm.
Rush has surprised Cowboys nation thus far, would be inspiring to see him continue do so.

I think k it’s the latter as he’s done that more often than he hasn’t and

We've all seen bad Dak struggle against good teams. So it's no anomaly he struggled since it's happened multiple times before.

We've seen Rush do exactly what they asked him too. Vs the Vikings they asked him to throw more, he did and won. now they are more conservative so he is doing that and winning. Small sample size so maybe he hits a wall but he's clearly capable of doing more than what they asre having him do.

What i asked was why do you and others like you pretend all rush has done is throw for only 100 yards a game? His 1st start he threw for 300, this year hes outplayed the starter in 3 of his 4 starts. And yet yall rag on him for doing whats asked of him knowing the coaches are calling conservative plays focused on the ground game and yet act like your not sucking on daks teet. BS. Yes dak is a good qb and we dont know what rush can be yet. But the difference isnt that big. And from your responce i gather why you put him down is so you feel better about dak being the qb. ya i do feel better better about dak being the starter if you dont thats on you.I dont agree with you but to each is own. If Rush starts all 5 games the cowboys are 4-1 if dak does the cowboys are 4-1(the entire team stink it up on opening night but dak was atrocious)I just feel much better about Daks physical capabilities then Rush but based on your responses I can see you dont and frankly I dont care. you must be part of the ABD crew

I do like the wins and thus far the DEFENSE has made it so Rush hasnt had to do more we will see this weekend if it continuies to remain like this.
