Ok, so they sent Pettite and Posada to take Mariano out of game for his final season.

What to do for Jeter?

I could only think of "2" things:

1. Jeter takes field in 7th or 8th inning and all teammates leave field or line up on 1st or 3rd bad line, gloves down. Tipping cap.

2. All players come put and take the field for that inning wearing #2 jersey. A field of 2's.

What you got?

They should do something that personifies Jeter's career as the cheap hit king. They should show this play on the big screen over and over

That was a nice catch!..... almost! lmao

That one play defines Jeter's career. His whole career was like that. And today he was in the on deck circle as his team was eliminated from any chance at the post season. And tomorrow for his final home game his parade will get rained on.

They should send all his former girlfriends out to carry him off into the locker room...

I think sending him out in the 8th inning or so would be good enough but I don't think Jeter would do that. Going to have to trick him if that's what you want to do.

Yup. Trick him.

Send Jorge out as catcher in uniform.
Pettite on mound.
Bernie walks by him on way to center.
Paul oneill, tino, Mariano comes out from bullpen.

Jeter will fell like he is in twilight zone. Lol

Ha Ha, like that signature pic. 95 wins isnt anything to frown about tho.

If we actually get a ballgame in tonight - enjoy your last home game Jeter moment. I know its a big deal for you Yankee fans.

No you don't.

No you won't lol

It's a big deal for more than yankee fans. Come to grips with that please. You will feel better and it will allow to enjoy this mini run you are about to go on.

You are too tight!

Im not tight at all bro. Ive just never bought into the media narrative on Jeter.

Under Buck the Birds have played their best ball late in the season every year except for last year when our closer blew so many games he killed the morale of the team. This season the pitching has been very good. Right now they're pitching really well, maybe as well as they have all season. Bullpen is very good. Pitching wins in the post season. The AL playoffs should be fun to watch and good for baseball with the Angels, Tigers, Orioles, Royals and A's. A's prob get bumped in the WC game. Orioles Tigers will be a great ALDS. The winner prob faces the Angels. All good.

Lol....your "tell" when something gets to you even though you claim it doesn't is "bro"... As it is for many others.

As for the rest, it's the same as the cowboys.

If the cowboys ain't in the playoffs and winning superbowls, the nfl is nothing. Same goes for 27 time World Series champions yankees. If they ain't in it, it's just regular games... Going through the playoff motion.
