All should:
- tip your cap
- say thank you
- say goodnight
- say goodbye

So I guess this game was the highlight of the season for the Yanks.

Jim Palmer on the MASN broadcast said the first inning was a tribute to Jeter. Orioles scored 2, and the Yanks scored 2 for #2.

Yes. Obviously!

Was pretty cool in 2nd inning.

The screen showed top left hand corner:
2nd inning ... Score 2-2, pitch 2-2, 2 outs with #2 just scoring before that.

Seriously, never saw such dejected orioles players on way to playoffs. They were like, is this guy for real?

For a guy who delivered us 5 World Series trophies, just missing a WS win for 9/11 ... This ranked up there.

The essence of... Embodiment of..... #2.... Being #1.

Watched the guy his entire career. He's an all-time great. The stats back it up in every way. Only the ultimate Jeter-hater, or a sportscaster trying to create controversy, would say otherwise. Watch this and appreciate the GREATNESS:

Yeah, I don't buy the, "he did more with less talent". Being clutch made him more talented than most.

Arod = what. A. Joke!

You have to be very talented to play and be productive for twenty years!!

Haters gonna hate and ballers gonna ball.......went to Thursday night in the Bronx as I have many times before and went Sunday in Boston. Lotta love for this man and there should be. He is one of the last true role models to all fans, but keep hating.......

I have high expectations. I realize anything can happen in a 7 game series, but I still expect them to win.

High expectations and expecting them to win are too different things.

Former is like high hopes, latter is with all certainty!
