Yet Another Prediction Blows Up... Springs to Eagles

What exactly makes anyone think that Springs is getting a good amount of money to go there? The guy is 34 and injury prone. I can't see why anyone would be offering him any major money. I could be totally wrong that, for sure, but I just get the feeling it's more about the chance to start vs. being a veteran backup.

yep there are no true studs at safety, some good ones, but none with elite speed, now in the NFL you have to have elite speed like the safeties.

ed reed, polamau, or bob sanders, all of these safeties are burners with 4.45 speed or better.

its like belichick patriots head coach said, with spread type offenses and west coast offenses, you have to have safeties with speed,

thats what the cowboys lack at safety, and none in this draft ran better than 4.47 i think,

I think 4.47 would be plenty fast enough. If those other guys are around 4.45 then 4.47 is in the range to make plays.

What we need is more guys with a lot of study time, some speed, and some nose for the ball. Ed Reed is so great not just because of his speed (Though that's nice) but because he studies like crazy and has a great nose for the ball.

Good, let him go to Philthydelphia and play 6-8 games...especially at safety! I never understood the love for him anyway (besides the fact his dad is a beloved Cowboy)! When healthy he's good, but he's NEVER healthy! He's only played a full season what, 3-4 times in his career? Springs = Charmin...soft & weak!!!

There is not a DB in the NFL, that can shut down T.O., man to man.

Last year in Dallas. He worked TO like an ugly step child. It became a pattern for every other team we played the rest of the season except the 49ers who for some unknown reason didn't do it.
