Last year in Dallas. He worked TO like an ugly step child. It became a pattern for every other team we played the rest of the season except the 49ers who for some unknown reason didn't do it.

But he had 7 receptions for 71 yards and he actually dragged Springs into the endzone for a TD.

Beg pardon, game in Washington, not Dallas. My bad.

TO could only dream every game he played in his career could have been against the 'skins. He's had a lot of success against them.

I stay ambivalent. I do wish he had gone to the NFC-not. His age and probably contract demands kept him away from us.

I've heard this before. Same old excuses.:(

We need new ones.

I'm not too butthurt about it. He's 34. We can't keep getting older at the same position. Besides I like Scandrick a lot.

Hos, read what you posted, you say it became a pattern for everyother team we played, but GB started it. Back to your analysis of how every team copied what GB did, including the skins. They doubled/tripled teamed T.O., not one, CB other than the 9ers played T.O. who tried playing T.O. man to man.

Springs cannot hold Owens one on one, no DB can. Yes, he mauled T.O. coming off the LOS, and the REfs let him get away with it, but if he had no help over the top, he would have been beat like a drum.

Just read on Yahoo sports that Springs liked the defensive package that Jim Johnson runs, but he apparently has one visit left. Hos, may be you are right, Springs may still end up coming here. I agree with most eveyone else, let the young guys play, but it would be nice to have someone as that 3rd or 4th corner that you know can still play the position or may be they could move him to safety. Anything is possible, just my 2 cents.

Every team we play will take TO getting 71 yards if it takes 18 passes thrown his way to get it. And then they'll ask for seconds.
