1-Calling Dalvin Cook & Malik Davis up from Practice Squad and Cutting Ezekiel Elliott and demoting Deuce Vaughn to the Practice Squad.

2- Starting Kavontae Turpin over Jalen Brooks.

3- Tyler Smith is the Left Tackle and Tyler Guyton is the new Right Tackle. Terrence Steele becomes a reserve.

4- Run the ball more and eat up time of possession.

5-Best kicker in the league. I remember Seahawks did this years ago in the playoffs vs Raiders. Once you cross the 50. Aubrey kicks a field goal.

6- Switch to a 3- 4 defense
Odighizuwa- RDE
Mazi- NT
Golston- LDE
Parsons ROLB
Clark- RILB
Kendricks- LILB
Overshown ROLB

7- Trade for
Myles Garrett for 1& 2(2025)
DK Metcalf for a 1(2026)

Forget all that! Look no further than the guy throwing INTs in the red zone. It's a carryover problem from last week which we were lucky enough to win. We are paying Dak a king's ransom to screw us. That needs to stop immediately! Sure the defense was missing too many starting pieces which allowed the score to be run up. I credit the Lions for taking advantage of all these Cowboy screw-ups.

Yes, Dak was 100% responsible for that 1st interception, but you can't fully blame him when he has absolutely no pass protection, absolutely no running game and only 1 legit WR to throw to (who was constantly double teamed all game long, including on that 1st interception)!

Intentionally ignoring the obvious is 100% the definition of TROLLING.

Yes, not beating anybody good with one legit weapon on offense. Makes it too easy for opposing DCs to stop that.
Kicking FGs instead of getting TDs not going to take you anywhere

95% agree with this, except...

You don't get rid of Deuce. He has talent. What he and the rest of the RBs don't have is a good Oline. Mike Solari should have been fired at the end of last season. Cowboys still don't have the right Oline coach who can turn this Oline into a mean and dominating Oline (which this offense needs badly).

Cowboys need another legit weapon at WR. CeeDee is our only true weapon, but he's getting double teamed constantly.

What's the use of occupying a 53 man roster spot on Trey Lance if you're not going to use him? He is the one who needs to be demoted to the practice squad (don't worry...no one will pick him up via waivers during those first 24 hours after demotion). Then make him one of your 3 practice squad players who can be protected from being poached by another team. Use his 53 man roster spot on someone else who can help this team right now.

7. Myles Garret starts at 2 1’s. After you’ve come to terms with that, you call Cleveland to see what else they want for him. He’s one of then greatest Dline talents in the history of the NFL and the reigning DPOY; Thats not happening.

5. You’re not beating anyone scoring 15-18 ppg with this defense. Dak and Lamb are paid to score TDs, have to keep trying for that.

3. This is not a bad idea, but how will it affect the longterm psyche of both players?

8. Fire Mike Zimmer. His was fired in Minnesota because his archaic defenses didn’t keep up with modern offenses (he was getting blown out by the Shanahan tree there too) and the players began to hate him. Do we really believe things are about to get better after this start?

9. Keep McCarthy to the end of the season, then let him walk. The team is still in good position in the playoff hunt, you don’t fire the HC until you’re completely out of it.

Deuce Vaughn has 2.0 career yards per attempt. Oline is an issue, but no one else on the team or ever in the league has been that bad. Yes he has talent, but so did most of the players cut in August. Hes not paid to have talent, he’s paid to perform.

The only reason he’s still in Dallas is the same reason Stephen is.

Nothing this year. It's too late. But in the off-season we're getting a new HC and new coordinators and new assistants.

At this point have to decide with short term vs long term..

Short term there are some things that can be done...cut zeke, more Turpin, bench steal, etc.

Problem is nothing can really be done short term to get this team to be any better than 9-8 this year. They simply don't have the personnel

Long term - I'd make it a fire sale at the trade deadline...micha goes as he will net the most and just too hard to resign, see what you can get for dlaw too and Martin, start finding an exit path with players that won't be here next year and get as much draft value as possible.

Yes it's going to be painful but this soft Luke warm crap is worse....
