15 ?

No 20. And I've played football my whole life throughout high school. I'm hardly an expert, butdont tell me that I need to learn a game, without giving me some sort of rebuttal as to how I dont know it.

But seriously, I would love to know how I dont know the game, and really am interested if you can show me how.

Your four years of football have nothing to do with the NFL level...at all.

That said, take a deep breath and enjoy the season. These do not come often.

Injuries, suspensions, playcalling, whatever. It is what it is, and we are not firing on all cylinders. I am a bit concerned, but nothing major. We need to improve our play, because this team does not look like a Super Bowl team.

Let's hear the excuses...
Whatever. The team was on fire until TO left the game.

You are absolutely correct. High school football is nowhere near the same game as the NFL. Hell neither is the NCAA. And trust me, I'm enjoying this season. Living in Iowa, there are so many Bears/Packers fans around here its sick. Trust me, I'm enjoying this season immensely.

But if you're going to insult me and say I'm 12 and that I dont know the game, at least give me some reasons as to why I dont know the game, or why you disagree. Otherwise, dont post it. It's just a personal attack with no substance. There's enough of that on this board as it is.

Dont quite agree with dominating, however we were up by 14, and had punted on 2 of 4 drives.

If we were playing the Patriots/Colts/Packers, or any elite team I would agree with the dominating comment.

However, we're playing against the Panthers without their best player and their 4th string QB who happened to be on our roster before we cut him. I dont consider that dominating, but a win is a win.

(Cowboys vs Vikings)
The irony is they won by the same exact score on Monday and were far less impressive in doing so, especially considering they were at home.

Ok...

You're acting like a little stupid 12 year old crying about how dallas didnt win the big game by 42 points just like every stupid 12 year ADD Madden-junkie bandwagonfan.

Feel better I explained that to you now?

No I was "crying" about how we didnt play well against a below average team. Romo forced several balls that he's lucky weren't picked, didnt throw very well (his only INT he had Crayton open on the post if he had put it a step or two ahead of him) Witten dropped several balls that he usually catches, and our coverage units were atrocious. Our run blocking on short yardage situations wasn't very good as there was penetration coming off of double team blocking assignments, and our defense gave up a 40 yard pass on a 4th and 12. I'd love to hear how you would not like for those things to stop.

Now, as I've said many times (that you obvously cannot do) is for you to explain to me how I dont know the game of football, because according to your previous post, I dont.

But it appears you're taking the immature approach and sticking with the personal attacks and insults so I'm done with this.

By the way, you might want to take a look in the mirror next time you accuse someone of acting like a 12 year old.

There's no excuses here. Dallas won. Teams don't make excuses for wins...especially late season wins on the road against teams fighting for playoff spots.

If anything, you're making excuses for your chronic pessimism. You're finding reasons to stifle your expectations so, in the event that Dallas loses at some point in the playoffs, you can protect your feelings and berate us with a chorus of I-told-you-so's.

You come at us with some ambiguous argumentation about "struggling" and "limping into the playoffs," and fail to explain your reasoning. Then, you arrogantly intimate that anyone who disagrees with your unqualified opinion is "making excusing."

I have a suggestion for you. Before every game, you should identify a specific margin of victory that would indicate the Cowboys aren't struggling.

Excuses is a bad word, you are correct. But I knew I was going to get a lot of disagreement since I stated concern over their mediocre play of late.

Pessimism? Hardly. Hoping we play better and voicing concerns in areas that we didnt play well at? Bingo.

Here's my reasoning. We have played our last 6 games against 5 teams with non winning records. We've lost one, and besides the Jets game, won the other 4 by a combined 13 points. After scoring 24 points all season, we fail to do so in 2 straight games, and after having our first 5 of 7 wins by at least double digits, we have failed to do so in three consecutive weeks.

And who and when did I "intimate" Dont try so hard to sound smart, you're only hurting yourself.

13-2 :p Be happy. We did well considering that TO got injured. Yeah, we're banged up. But enjoy the win. :p And it's people like you I want to lock out of my house when I'm watching a game. Keep your negativity to yourself. There people like me, who look at things realistically, and know the injuries are bad, but would like to stay positive, and don't want to listen to someone whine.

2.Archaic. to make known; announce.

I'm certainly not trying to appear intelligent. I only used the word that, in my opinion, best fit the situation.

I apologize if I confused you. I'll be certain to "dumb it down" next time.

Why do you guys think it is negativity? I simply want my favorite team to play better. It really appears that there are alot of homers that cant admit when we are not playing at our best and we have alot of room to improve.

And if you look at things realistically, you will realize that we are not playing as well as we did earlier in the season. Look at my above post for proof and see that there just may be cause for slight concern.

I don't see how anyone could complain about a 13-2 team

Yeah, I think the more rational of us know that they can happen, and still try to think positive. It could get bad in the playoffs, but I'll be proud of my Cowboys, considering the injuries. I still think we can do good. But a good fan, wouldn't get a "we suck;we're doomed," attitude just because of injuries. We don't need no fair weather fans.

because if we win and you don't post something positive than you have an "agenda" according to a select few on this board

My fault, I didnt understand what you were saying, as I'd never heard intimate used in that term, looked it up on dictionary.com, yet didnt see the bottom of the page with the secondary definition.

Next time I wont try to hard to sound smart. :banghead:

Just answer this. The way we played the last three weeks, does anyone think we could beat the Pats playing like that? Exactly. You guys are taking what I said and taking it to the extreme.

We need to improve our play or we aren't going to win a Super Bowl. Stop trying to twist it and make it as though I said we are a terrible team who wont win a playoff game.

excuses for what? :p We're injured, that's a fact. We're 13-2, that's a fact. I'm proud of my cowboys -- no matter what -- and I still have hope they can do well despite the injuries. The only one who is giving excuses for being pessimistic is you. You're not a real fan.

Please show me one example where it has been said that we suck and we're doomed.

As I stated earlier, you guys need to stop taking everything that inst rosy and positive and twisting it to it's most extreme.
