Jerry and Stephen spent 20 years proving they were idiots before they even drafted Dak. You keep acting like this just started a few years ago, when they paid Dak.

Its been a long time since those three championships.

I agree we need new leadership but it aint going to happen so whats the point of moaning about it.

They did exactly what 80% of you wanted. Give Dak a big over paid contract.

Told other fans they are haters and should be banned.

Don't go pointing fingers. They did what everyone wanted. Don't go throwing stones and hiding your hands now.

More than half this forum has no right to complain or cuss out Jerry.

This is our bed now.

Jerry and Stephen are idiots...sorry you said i could not say it ....but i am more an idiot being cowboy Homer

Well, I'm interested to see the lists of QBs who Cowboys fans believe can change the culture which has been created here for the last couple of decades now.

they have the second most cap space in the league. they just manage resources horrendously.

they’re handicapped alright but not by the salary cap

They could sign dudes to 1 year deals. But they’re saving most of that money in future years for guys like Diggs, Parsons and Lamb who will all break the bank.

This is true.

agree Stephen Jones is why we are so bad......Mike Fisher appropriately says...Dallas Cowboys are a Marketing business that plays football on the side.....and i am such an idiot to go super Homer for cowboys

and even predict Plat guarantees they win....what they rolled out was pathetic pure image of Stephen Jones

Don't even forget they wanted Connor Cook and Paxton Lynch..

It took Wade Wilson pounding the table for him in the war room with a comp pick to even bring that happy accident to reality.

And we are suppose to believe that they would make the right decision when it comes to drafting the next QB for the Cowboys.

We've been asking for a defensive line that can stand up against the run. We've been asking for a solid left guard. We've been asking for a decent replacement for Tyron Smith. We've been asking for a better backup quarterback. We've been asking for Pollard to be used in the slot. We've been asking for an upgrade over LVE.

So, yes... the front office is full of idiots.

I do not recall most fans, much less most actively posting members of the site, advocating the front office sign Dak Prescott to four years, $164 million, $126 million guaranteed as market value. In fact, I recall many members posting comments on this site stating Prescott's market value sitting between $18 million and $32 million a year.

So, when the OP states:

--it is both an exaggeration and definitely not equivalent to a majority of observers desiring a market value outcome as he described.

A majority of posters (that make posts) wanted Dak signed to a big deal. 35-40 million per year was the consensus. I don’t think you’re being intellectually honest here. You almost seem defensive.

May have been a majority but it was not an overwhelming majority. I remember the polls at the time. There is not this vast majority that love Dak - just some very loud ones!

53% were against it. Majority did not want to pay him that much.

He posted the poll in another thread. 53% disagreed w/ paying him that much.

I have been a member on this site going on 20 years. It still amazes me just how frequent exaggerations are posted here.
It shouldn’t amaze you about exaggerating tbh. You post your own hyperbole as proof that OP exaggerated. Didn’t know it was only 350 members on this site. I’d definitely say it was probably more closer to 50/50 but those 50 that were good with this have no right to complain about Dak being what he always has been aka not that good outside of fantasy stats.

I don’t recall telling them to trade away Cooper for nothing or to do nothing for a backup left tackle.
