I do not recall most fans, much less most actively posting members of the site, advocating the front office sign Dak Prescott to four years, $164 million, $126 million guaranteed as market value. In fact, I recall many members posting comments on this site stating Prescott's market value sitting between $18 million and $32 million a year.

So, when the OP states:

Yep, a lot of us said not to do it and they did: just like lots of other bad contracts they've given out over the years. This isn't about Dak or his deal: it's all about those two butthole surfers and their ineptitude. They are geniuses when it comes to one thing: making money. Running a successful NFL team that wins championships? Just a distant memory sadly. I feel sorry for all the younger fans that didn't get to see them in the 90's.

The actual dollar amount fluctuated among various members but the majority of posters did not advocate $40 million+ per year on average. In fact, most posts did not come close to approaching that figure.

IF he goes and get a better backup for 6 games. Rush or Grier are 1-2 game type backups. We need a better option trade or find one available, thats better.
