I said before going into this game that the Bears are like the Giants. They're better than you think..

It's just that they're not that much better and our defense was terrible.

With Lamb out, offense had to adjust. I liked some things I saw from Flournoy and Tolbert..even Spann-Ford.

Turpin may end up becoming a legit #3 sometime soon.

You don't draft a unicorn but once every 20 years if you are lucky. And Jerry screwed that all up by not paying him in year three and then getting all obstinate because he tried to negotiate directly with Micah (which violates the CBA).

3 games in a row where this defense holds the opponent's rushing game to less than 90 yards, so Jerry made the right move trading way overpaid Micah. 87 to be exact and 0 rushing TDs vs the Bears. Just under 300 passing yards. Problem once again were those big bomb wide open pass plays for TDs and even the red zone pass plays wide open for more TDs. The problem is our secondary, horrible lame pass coverage and sucky D-Coordinator that needs to be fired already.

While normally I'm for giving coaches with new schemes more time, the book on this guy was written when he was in Chicago. He needs to be fired yesterday.

But then you look at his record as a DC and his defenses were always top 10. So I’m for giving him a bit more time.

Was Bland that big of a difference in the secondary? One problem is we have no d— Safety at all. Been a sore position since Woodson.

Quinn coached them up and made the safety position look like a strength. Without Parsons, no pass rush. If he was here, the other pass rushers would look better because he has to be doubled. They have been playing man mostly before now. You can't implement a new scheme in one off-season.
