You have to let the dog out - Dez Bryant

I like when the media tried to make it about him and he said"did you see me when Terence scored?

I remember he was pumped for him

What killed them in that situation was the holding call on third down. It stopped the clock. Without that holding call, Detroit would have got the ball back with much less time.

That's why you kneel it... We didn't need anymore points... Reminds me of the situation from Mighty Ducks 3... when Conway tries to score at the end of a game early on after they gave up a bunch of points. He doesn't score, and the other team gets the puck, and puts it in. Had he just properly run the time out, they win, same thing here.

Secondly, the game management during crunchtime was atrocious. If there is anything that shows what Garrett is made of is during crunchtime. All he had to do was run the ball straight up the middle or have Romo take a knee. We had 3 plays to run out the clock with 1:40 left. Why didn't Garrett play it safe? Why did we call for a sweeps during those crucial moments? The coaches have to put the team in a position to win. The coach failed in this regard.

Looked like a run of LT that Tanner bounced outside and not a called sweep

Agree 100% The reason why this game hurts so much is that you could see the loss coming from a mile away the moment we starting running for negative yards on the last 2 possessions.

I'm all for siding with Bryant 100%. The announcers kept harping that the safeties were playing close to the LOS as though they were playing the run. Yet we kept running it with Joseph Randle and Dunbar. When you have your best playmaker, which is Bryant, being covered 1 on 1, you don't give it to your running back scrubs. You get it to the hands of Bryant. 3 receptions for 2 tds is nothing to sneeze at and it goes to show how little we tried to get it into Bryants hands the whole game.

Yeah I kept wondering why we continued to run to the outside on this plays. Just run the ball up the middle. That way there is minimal chance for a hold.

If Dez had been complaining that he wasnt getting enough touches, I would've had a a big problem with his sideline antics. But if his actions were centered more about the team and not necessarily him, then I have no gripes.

And thats what losing teams do. They commit horrendous penalties or turn the ball over at the very worst times. They find ways to lose, like Dallas and Cleveland both did today.

The coach still needs to emphasize to the team not to get cute. Landry, Johnson, or Parcells would not have tolerated those runs and would have put an end to it right there.

"If you run that ball outside once again, I'll cut you."

Problem solved.

There is a reason why teams kick field goals on 3rd downs at the end of games. Because mistakes can happen. You kneel that ball down 3 times, and punt it through the endzone, and then they end up with 20 seconds left and no time outs, rather than a minute...

Don't even run the ball...

That should be the runs 1& 2, even you get a minimal gain . You try not to lose yards and not fumble the ball.

But why would you run in long 3rd down, with the way we had been running. ,no chance to pick up first and also penalty , fumble etc, just kneel it down , and run the clock, kick field goal. Or I was even ok , with going to kneel on 4th and 5 to run the clock out to last 25 secs

Is there any explanation as to why Garrett didn't have them kneel?

There's plenty of legit complaints you can easily bring up about the coaching after this game but this is a bit of a reach. Tyron should have known better Tanner did what he could to gain yards and Tyron held it's really that simple, not sure how you can blame someone other then Tyron for that

Why don't you listen to what Romo has to say on the subject? Because that would defeat your entire view point.

Romo's a class act. He's not going to throw Dez under the bus like Dez did to him and the coaches.

Garrett will never blame himself. Or let me put it this way: I will be utterly shocked if Garrett ever blames himself.

If this isn't a wake up call for the coaching farce the so-called Ivy League grad he put on display in the last minutes of the game, nothing will be.

Keep telling yourself that. Not only did he not throw Dez under the bus, he defended him, what he was doing, and saying that he was doing the right thing, and something he always does.

Get out of here.

If you don't believe Dez acted the spoiled brat, then I question your class.

Not sure, was listening to the post game, but I can't stand to look at him, so I turned it off.

I don't get why people aren't talking about this. Unless I'm missing something, all they had to do was kneel 3 times, punt it, and it was game over.
