It only goes to show how much recent NFL rule changes have, in fact, changed the game.

Count me in on this bandwagon...

I think the Bills only managed 3.6 ypc last week, despite the 100 yard rushing performance.

You will understand that the success Jones and Barber has is in how well they compliment one another.
You will understand that if either one of them were a 30 play back they would be less effective and prolly injured by now.
Mark my words Jones is going to go off in this game and Barber will pound their *** in the 2nd half.

We should be able to pass and run on them, but that doesn't mean they aren't going to stop us more than we're going to score.
The Cowboys are NOT going to line up and run, run, run, run, run all game long and just keep the ball and the clock on their side...it doesn't work that way against any team in the NFL, especially not a team with a perfect record and a head coach who is very good at defense.
Did some of you guys ever consider that when you have an offensive machine like INDY does, that you play a more bend-but-don't-break offense intentionally, giving up more rushing yards in order to avoid giving easy TD's...I would think the smart approach in INDY is to make teams earn their points slowly.
This doesn't mean I don't like our chances of beating them, but anyone who thinks our running game is just going to dominate them all game and lead us to a win is crazy....our defense is going to have to get some stops, force some turnovers, and our offense/defense is going to have to put up 27 to 30 points to win this game, imo.
koolaid;1164673 said:to win this game we have to come out fired up - something we have never done.
can you immagine how good our team would be if we had our late game fire in the first quarter as well?
Terence Newman700;1164269 said:omg i hope we see the D weve been braggin about in TC....omg this game is so important....if we get atleast 2 turnovers(interceptions or a fumble.....but we need atleast 1 pick to lower manning's confidence)...this game will come down to turnovers...looking at out seconday....n there secondary....i like our chances way better

35-31 either Cowboys or Colts on top.
i don't know about jones but i would put my money on barber having a good game.DBoys;1164171 said:You will understand why Parcells has rested the RB's.
