Young > McNair

Vince > Eli.....

however....whoever started this thread is absurd if they truly think at this point in time that

Vince > McNair

I am one of the biggest Vince homers around....but he has only played 1 year. I was very pleased with the way he played and how he lifted that team on his shoulders and were within 1 win of the playoffs after an 0-4 or 0-5 start.

I think with the continued help of McNair each offseason, Young will soon be better than McNair.....but no right now....

I'd give the Lions share of that figure to the defense

Young got the help of 8 Special teams TD's and 4 defensive TD's. Does that help him?

He had a better QB Rating than Young in their respecitve Rookie seasons.

Carter just didn't get the help of 8 special teams TD's and 4 defensive TD's.
Theres more to the Game then just stats VY is ten times the leader than Quincy was. Real Talk

Until Vince leads the Titans to the playoffs, or the Super Bowl, as McNair has done, there is no comparison, really.

Well I like Vince as much as anybody, but a strong running game ,special teams and defense had thier fair share of wins in Tennessee, too.

Vinsanity was the cause of it all.

A VY debate always seems to get the masses stirring. :D

and uncovers the amazing thoughts of some...

Yeah, and there apparently was much more to the Titans wins than the play of Young.

Can Vince have as good of a career as McNair? Sure. But it's ludicrous to make such a comparison at this point in time.

Young is not even in McNair's league as far as passing the ball goes.

McNair had a bad game, but his season stats were much better then Youngs.
Overall he played better then Young. However, what Young brought to his team was very big. If he can get better at the mechanics and the more difficult parts of being a NFL QB then he could very well end up better then McNair.

McNair likely would have struggled if he started his first year as well. We need to wait 5+ years imo for this to be a meaningful comparison.

Apparently, by your accounts, he isn't in Quincy's league either. :lmao:

You have discredited yourself well young paduwon.

Scary fact he shared with us there.

Here's another "amazing" thought

Of Course but thats the thing about leadership it lifts all his teammates. You never feel like your out of a game with VY under center and when a team feels like they're always in it they play harder and then you see some of those plays that PacMan and the special teams make cause they have a guy under center that they can go to bat for. Ask yourself this why wasn't the Titans defense and special teams making those same plays for Kerry Collins?

I know. It's almost sad that a guy gets so much positive hype while his piss poor passing is totally buried by the media.

Please include the win/loss record for both players. Argument over!!!
Win/Loss record is an accurate indicator of QB play. It's funny that the Vince Young fans can only resort to that as a defense.

Drink the media koolaid........
No need to drink the media kool-aid. ive been following and watching Vince Young dominate games since he played HS football in Houston. he's a future HOF QB
