James Hana is a starter, which is pretty notable for a 6th round pick, and Claiborne should be ready to start week 1.

I think a couple of years from now Claiborne Hanna and Crawford will start for us.

I vote neither, Alex.

Too early to judge this draft. We have yet to see what kind of players Mo and Crawford will become. Both are very promising though.

If Mo can be the player he was in college it might still save this draft.

Looking like Mo, Crawford, and Hanna is our only hope.

The problem is he's a below average blocker.

I'm more focused on that 4th round. When you trade away your 2nd round pick, you better hit on one of those two picks. They whiffed on both. There is nothing there with Wilber.

Not really too early.

We got 1 sure starter and we'll be lucky to get another starter out of the rest of the group.

The 4th and 5th round looks very meh at best.

We are one year removed.. its too early, bro.

Mo could end up being an All Pro corner and Crawford could be a staple on our DL for a decade.. or they could both be nobodies.

We don't know yet.. hence, too early.

Lets call a spade a spade Catch, that 4th and 5th round is pathetic. It's the main reason this is a bad draft.

Mo needs to step it up this year. He's already been outplayed by two corners drafted after him.

Kent Brockman: Professor, without knowing precisely what the danger is, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?

: Yes I would, Kent.

Speaking of draft classes - with the roster finalized, all of this year’s draft picks made the team. Another way to evaluate a draft class is on how many turn into starters and it looks pretty good from the preseason play of this class.

Future Starters:

1 - Fred will start next year because (duhhh) he is starting this year.

2 - Wilcox has a very good chance of starting next year because he has shown the upside and Will Allen is on a one year contract.

3 - T Will may not start next year but will certainly be part of the rotation, at a minimum playing the 3rd WR spot.

4 - Holloman was an excellent pick and certainly looks like he could start next year over Durant - and may even start later this season.

That leaves Escobar, Webb and Randle.

Webb was certainly the biggest disappointment and even then he looks capable of being the 3rd CB down the road. With Scandrick’s cap hit being 5.6MM next year, he may get every opportunity to do so.

Randle has shown something and may not start but looks like he could contribute if Murray is injured, something we didn’t have last year and it cost us wins.

Escobar is playing behind a Hall of Famer and was drafted with the understanding it would take time to develop his strength/blocking ability. He has the receiving skills and will certainly have time to develop playing behind Witten.

Mo has only had 1 year, so it's still too early to tell on him. Crawford is just bad luck, plain and simple. Hanna was actually a pretty solid pick for being in the 6th round, and he could be a starter long term (even if he's slightly above average still not bad for 6th round). I also think Johnson is unlucky, because he certainly has talent, but that's the one that hurts the most because we could have used a safety (and we still need depth at the position)

not looking too promising but ya never know, Mo and Hanna are starters but soon Hanna won't be if Escobar comes on strong. Mo isn't enough to carry a whole draft unless he turn out to be Revis or Dion. its going to be tough to count on Crawford cuz thats a tough injury

Whats so promising about Crawford. The guy was nothing special in college, has done nothing in the pros and is now coming of a season ending injury.

From the looks of things, Hanna's upside is probably what we got out of Phillips. You know even if he out plays Escobar, his draft status will always weigh in his favor. From the way things are breaking, it is a one player draft and even Claiborne is not exactly a sure thing.

Hatcher was nothing special in college, was drafted in the 3rd round in 2006.
