Your biggest complaint

I thought the point of having McCarthy and Dak building an offense this offseason was to have a cohesive scheme where they set things up but all I am seeing is more of the same with shorter routes.

This is it. This is my biggest complaint is that things never change.

You have a team that can dominate when they face bad teams. When they play real ones they get exposed.

The offensive woes could be seen coming a mile away. If you wanted to make that change slap yourself in the face. The man overachieved greatly with Dak Prescott as his QB.

I remember his rookie season was insane now so underwhelming

Same as the last 28 years. The dark cloud that parked itself in the owners box, and the culture of medicrity he brings. Long as the money and attention on him and the team continúes, he is quite content. Any other problem is a symptom and not the root.

Biggest complaint? Lack of a quality GM like John Lynch.

Other than the lance trade and pick, they pick ballers…..AND, their trades end up great like with the best LT and RB in the game. Their front office puts ours to freakin shame.

I will always be a Cowboy fan but over the last 20+ years it often feels like we always end up very mediocre or a little under even with excellent players. I know there have been above average seasons and in those we get eliminated early in the playoffs. It starts to feel like there's an impossible ceiling to break through. It feels like we're stuck at 8-8 no matter what even though that isn't always true. With a 17 game schedule I envision an 9-8 or 8-9 finish just by default. So frustrating.

The Cowboys passing game concepts do not consistently attack multiple levels of a defense and the Receivers are not precise with their route running. Too many times we see multiple Cowboys receivers in the area of a pass, usually luring multiple defenders into the area with them. The Receivers don't seem to be able to read defenses either, lacking ability to slip into voids of a defense between defenders. Amari Cooper was the best we had with those skills.

They don’t use free agency at all. Every other good team does.

"Ya say what ya gotta say, right?" as he attempted minimizing lying to his prospective employer.

"Penalties will be a first priority."
"Run the damn ball and rest the defense."

AND the list goes on.
Lies, lies and more lies.
Some other QB he coached in the past said his offense was stale and questioned his coaching IQ in general.

Looks to be kinda accurate right about now.
Then along with his lying he aint got whatcha call a good public perception of him as a coach these days.

He earned it.

They’re living the dream IMO, my dad would do the same. But my dad would also cut dak loose at this point and admit he was wrong.

With everything you have seen this year what is your biggest complaint/concern for our Cowboys?

Seems as though there’s a lot of small holes in this boat that’s causing the ship to sink. Where do we start to fix the issues?

Start with hiring a professional GM.
This teams problems start at the top.

There’s no other hope.

There’s also no real way he runs football ops these days so I don’t sweat that, but he needs to shut his mouth at some point soon. It’s going to get much worse.

He just so desperately wants to be the center of attention for two weeks at the Super Bowl, and he isn’t ever going to get it because of his own ego and stubbornness and need to take EVERY ounce of credit, not just some.

He already sold his soul for SB30. Satan doesn’t need to buy it again.
