Seems like the cowboys offense has virtually illuminated the midrange passes, the 12-20 pass plays. The deep ins and deep outs...these plays aren't even attempted anymore.
I guess those are dangerous plays to attempt.
Can’t trust QB to deliver so the “do not enter sign is up “

Our offense seems so predictable and slow. Big Mike at the helm has the Cowboys going backwards.
Dak doesn't have the juice to win big games and I'm afraid we'll be stuck with him till he decides to retire from football.
Our defense changes it's demeanor once they face a stronger more physical team that punches them in the mouth. I'm tired of hearing Parsons talking smack too....and I love Parsons.
I just don't see this team taking a step forward until Jerry is gone.
I'm in my mid 50s and I don't think I'll see another championship ever again.

The constant overreaction from people on this board. It's as if this is the first year of watching football. I used to enjoy coming here and having educated, level headed conversations about positives & negatives from game to game. But what I really miss is logging in, on game day, and seeing the excitement and energy everyone had for the game. 95% of posts were pro-Cowboys and you never had to worry about getting slammed for rooting for our favorite team.

Oh, in regards to the actual team, my biggest complaint would be injuries to key guys but who isn't having to deal with injuries? Just seems like there's a lot more this year for some reason.

My complaint is MM's offense.

We can blame Dak and I get it but this was a top-five unit with Kellen Moore calling the plays. This year the offense is teetering between adequate and stagnant and the only thing that changed is McCarthy's input.

He broke something that didn't need to be fixed.

With everything you have seen this year what is your biggest complaint/concern for our Cowboys?

Seems as though there’s a lot of small holes in this boat that’s causing the ship to sink. Where do we start to fix the issues?
Culture. It seems to me these guys are using football to be celebrities and competing comes second. They are following the personality of the owner.

McCarthy clearly has no faith in Dak whatsoever.

It's ridiculous because the production with Dak was there with Kellen Moore. Were there more mistakes? Yes. But you can't play scared at this level.

Against good teams, it looked exactly the same with Moore.

Three embarrassingly bad games against the 49ers in a row.

You mean the guy who took Soloman Thomas instead of Patrick Mahomes, then drafted Trey Lance?
No GM is ever perfect but certainly you're not comparing him to Jerry as equal?

John Lynch has built a powerhouse in the last five years.

My biggest complaint is other teams move on much quicker than Dallas when things aren't going right. We held onto JG WAYYYYYY too long, we're holding on to Dak too long. Sometimes you need to just suck for a year or two and rebuild with high value early draft picks. We refuse we would rather be semi-relevant each year

I was calling JJ Al Davis 2.0 20 years ago. You could see it coming a mile away. You’ve got to at least take a shot at a generational QB to over come Jerry’s world. Never gonna happen but it would give us a shot. It’s the most important position on the field. You’re not dumbing things down 8 years in. Dak IS Jason Garrett 2.0. Jerry’s world is the true definition of insanity.

Same as the last 28 years. The dark cloud that parked itself inloop the owners box, and the culture of medicrity he brings. Long as the money and attention on him and the team continúes, he is quite content. Any other problem is a symptom and not the root.

How about installing some accountability. For instance, when a player keeps making bad decisions and getting dumb penalties over and over, put him on the bench. Accountability is a real issue with this team. There is no excuse for it.

Or a coach like Mike Tomlin
Go check out the Steelers fans. They complain constantly that Tomlin isn’t an X’s and O’s Type of coach and fails to hire effective coordinators, especially on the offensive side.

Lots of their fans are saying it’s time for Tomlin to go.

Probably, but how long did he have a winning record for?

I say one thing though….he really does get the most out of the players he dealt.
