Okay, just Googled her. I don't remember her from LiS, but she probably looked much different than the pictures I saw. According to the source, she's going to be in an upcoming Hallmark holiday movie, so I'm sure I'll see her when I visit my mother, the week the movie comes out.

She was born in '82, just a few months after I graduated high school.

She was likely 15 or 16 years old when they filmed Lost In Space (that's her from the movie). Not sure if even some of her fans could have met her as a mid-teen, stepped into a time machine, jumped ahead ten years into the future, met her again in her mid-to-late twenties, and thought the two were the same person.

Oh wait, you're talking about the really bad Matt LeBlanc movie. I was thinking about the new series.

My bad. I was not referring to any of the cast of the new series, which I love. The movie did not do even Gary Oldman any favors, although his rendition of Mr. Smith was FAR superior than the campy 1960's television series version.

No, not your bad at all. I'm the one who forgot about that movie. lol

BTW, because of your emphatic praise of DS9 I'm on S2: E7, giving it another chance. So far, I'm not really all in on it. There are very few characters that I care about at all. If they'd cast someone else as Odo, it probably would've helped. Rene Auberjonois is just too snobbish.

I am still holding out hope that you will get to mid-to-end of season three when the Dominion storyline really solidifies in the series. It is from that point through season seven when Deep Space Nine really defines itself as a great Star Trek show in my opinion. If those particular episodes do not capture your admiration, I would not ask for you to struggle through any more episodes afterwards. :)

Actually I have watched her from Party of Five onward; and by the time she did LiS her features were pretty much set. She filled out more certainly but yes an OBSERVANT person would be able to recognize her.

Ok, my last post here and she is my latest infatuation......

She researches aliens and mythological creatures, looks like the girl next door and is smoking hot to me. I present one Jessica Chobot of Expedition X!

When I was a kid, there wasn't any cable, but they would play the old time classic movies late night on the weekends and got a crush on Lauren Bacall. She had those bedroom eyes and sultry , raspy voice.....

Raspy voice?...Don't forget Kathleen Turner!

One thing I never understood: Why do the Ferengi speak perfect English, with not even a hint of an accent, except for the word "human"?

They acquired a more sophisticated version of the universal translator from human Federation scientists.

Just kidding. I have no idea. :D
