Like the idea.
Like the early picks, potential starters on defense
Even like the late picks, all have a chance to make the team.

Like the idea.
Thanks! I don’t know about everyone else, but I find myself passing the time more and more often by doing a quick mock draft.

And I’ve found this to be the most readily accessible complete draft.

Defense! Defense! Defense!

12 Caleb Downs S

Trade 20 to the Cardinals for picks 34 and 65

34 Avieon Terrell CB
Terrell projects as an early starter thanks to his polish, ball skills and coverage versatility.

65 Josiah Trotter LB comp Nick Bolton
Ascending inside linebacker with NFL bloodlines and alpha energy.

92 Harold Perkins LB
  • Posted 35.5 tackles for loss, 17 sacks and eight forced fumbles in his four seasons.
112 Zxavian Harris DL
  • Massive with a rare combination of size, length and power.
  • Can align at multiple spots in even and odd fronts.
152 Kage Casey OT
Casey has the upside to start in the league and could begin his career as a swing tackle with guard flexibility.

117 De'Zhaun Stribling WR 4.36 second 40-Yard Dash
He’s also one of the most competitive run blockers in the WR class. Stribling projects as an immediate WR4 who could eventually work his way into a starting role.

180 Jadon Canady CB
Canady is worth a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick as a future starting slot corner.

218 Tyler Onyedim DL
Onyedim is a future starter with the athleticism and scheme versatility to play as a 3-technique or odd-front end.

This was my 1st very quick mock draft I posted on Monday. I just went by a rankings list.
No simulators or anything like that. I may do another one, and with a few trade ideas this weekend.

1. S. Styles, LB, OSU
2. D. Baily, DE, T. Tech
3. M. Klare, TE, OSU
4. LT Overton, DL, Ala.
5. A. Carter, LB, Tenn.
5. B. Clark, S, TCU
5. B. Stephens, OL, Iowa
7. L. Styles, CB, OSU

This would be awesome

IVe seen mocks with Banks falling to 3rd with injury. I think DT is very much in play in top 3 picks

Here's mine from https://sticktothemodel.com/, which I think is pretty cool. Their “GM simulator” allows you to pick a team, sign free agents, trade away players, then do a full mock draft.

All the defensive guys I really covet were gone at 12, and Detroit offered 17 and 50 for 12 so I took it -

17 - Peter Woods, DT
20 - Dillion Thieneman, S
50 - Jacob Rodriguez, LB

I then traded 92 and a 2nd next year to trade up to 58 and selected - 58 - Derrick Moore, DE

112 - Jakob Kilgore. S
152 - Nadame Tucker, DE
177 - Fa'alili Fa'amoe, OT
180 - Charles Demmings, CB
218 - Barion Brown, WR/KR

I'm a fan of Nadame Tucker. Tied for the lead in the FBS with 14.5 sacks. Has first-step explosion and good bend. Also showed advanced hand usage for a player without much experience before his final year when he transferred to Western Michigan. Knocks on him is that he's not real big (around 250 pounds), can get overwhelmed in the run game and hasn't developed a great countermove when his speed rush is stopped.

Man, im ready to let the board handle this years draft. Nice.

1A- Keionte Scott(6-0,192) CB Miami
Reason- I think Michael Irvin secretly distracts Jerry and Stephen makes the call. Scott blistering forty 4.25 hopefully can get Jerry from being a pig- headed moron and pick a Miami Hurricane

1B- Caleb Banks(6-6,327) DT Florida
Reason- He is a high risk, high reward pick. The guy is a BEAST with 35 inch arms. Take a gamble for a guy who could be a Pro Bowl with Kenny Clark & Quinnen Williams

3- Taylen Green(6-6,223) WR Arkansas.
Reason- This guys numbers are off the charts with size and ability. Green's pro future is at WR. Get him before someone else puts in the card for him. 4.36 forty and a 43 1/2 vertical. He has a chance to be another Randy Moss with his talent . Green also becomes insurance if George Pickens leaves in free agency after the season .

4- Wade Woodaz(6-2,236) ILB Clemson
Reason- We need to find some tough physical Inside Linebacker. Woodaz is physical and fast 4.5 forty at his pro day.

5A- Robert Spears- Jennings(6-2,205) S/ CB Oklahoma
Reason- With most of the top corners taken by now,we look for a fast Safety who can compete at Corner, but can compete at Safety also. Spears - Jennings is very fast 4.32 forty and doesn't shy away from contact.

Continued the rest of my mock next post.

5B- Tanner Koziol (6-6,242) TE Houston
Reason- We have to get more production than what Schoonmaker is giving us as the 2nd TE(0 TDs,14 catches not even 200 yards in receiving in 2025). Koziol is tall, good hands, and ran a decent 4.70 forty at the Combine.

5C-Jarod Washington(6-2,188) CB South Carolina State
Reason- Small School player, Washington adds depth and is no slouch to be a contender for a starting position. He was the fastest player at the East- West Shrine Game. HBCU Gameday says Washington has run a 4.34 forty

7- Braxton Fely(6-1,296) NT Boise State
Reason- It's the 7th round, how much is left except possible Sleepers. Fely is strong as an ox(38 reps on the 225 lbs bench) Add the last two years he had 10 sacks,5 sacks per year. Understudy at DT & NT for us.

The secondary would be set with a CB1 and NB.

The secondary would be set with a CB1 and NB.
I think you could totally revamp the secondary in one year and give Parker a bunch of young talent to teach, shape, and mold for the future.

Maybe, Revel does make a big jump in 2026, but even that is no guarantee. And I think the team already regrets signing Bland to that big extension and i think they’re already looking to get out of it as soon as they can.

In my opinion, Parker will try to quickly reshape the secondary in his image.

12 Rueben Bain Edge formal combine meeting
Bain’s explosive power and toughness should translate, giving him a high floor as an NFL starter.

Trade 20 to the Cardinals for picks 34 and 65

34 Anthony Hill Jr. LB
His size, speed and versatility allow him to profile as an instant-impact rookie at Mike or Will ‘backer.

65 Malik Muhammad CB
He displays outstanding vision and adheres to his zone-cover principles, allowing him to play with ideal efficiency on all three levels. Muhammad has Day 2 talent and starter-level ability.

92 Max Klare TE an unexpected value pick that could add some juice to the passing game
In a league craving impact tight ends, Klare has a chance to inject life into an offense hunting mismatches.

112 Jalon Kilgore S formal combine meeting
Kilgore is a big, long defensive back with nickelback or down safety value depending on scheme fit.
  • Posted eight interceptions and 21 pass breakups in his three college seasons.
152 De'Zhaun Stribling WR
Stribling projects as an immediate WR4 who could eventually work his way into a starting role.

177 Tyler Onyedim DL
Onyedim is a future starter with the athleticism and scheme versatility to play as a 3-technique or odd-front end.

180 Albert Regis DL
Regis should become a run-stopping factor as a nose tackle.

218 Anez Cooper OG
Cooper’s limitations require occasional help, but he has starter upside in the right scheme fit.

New Defensive depth chart (4-2-5)

DL

Clark, Ogvonnia, Toia, Regis
Williams, Bullard, Onyedim
OLB
Ezeiruaku, Bain, Wheat
Gary, Liufau, Houston, Land
ILB
Overshown, James, Barron
Hill, Trade for veteran

Great site! Made a handful of trades and came out with a fantastic haul IMO. I would be drinking myself silly if this somehow became reality. :oldcouple:
