Your daily mock draft

Interesting approach. Likleyhood is miniscule. All the trades required would take extrodinary luck. It's like the Seahawks model this past year. They had the perfect storm of good players with no elite players besides 1 who hadn't been paid yet(JSN). This glob of players, would most definitley make a substancial change to the defence overall. However, reality can be a cumbersume pill to swallow, this is a mirage of yearning and envy. I do like most of those players. A little high on Ramsey for my taste.
Oh, yeah, it definitely isn't going to happen.

I'm just messing around and approaching the mock draft simulator with different philosophies each time. I did one draft that was all Texas schools.

I kind of like this approach. It is an extreme example of what Belichick was doing in New England for the longest time.

The Patriots almost always traded down their 1st round picks, often in exchange for a 2nd round pick and next year's 1st. He would then continue the same process each draft.

It wasn't unusual at all for the Patriots to have 4-5 day #2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Terrell won't make it past Buffalo at 26.

Some of the mocks I've seen floating around the internet have to be click bait... just awful!
"Let's trade both first round picks and get 12 3rd round picks!!!" LMAOOOOOOOO
I'd love to see Dallas load up on the next worst D in the NFL with all of these amazing trade scenarios!

Is there someone who doesn't have a trade back scenario in their mock draft? Anyone? Any normal humans that actual know anything about football and draft value and how awful the cowboys pick in the 2nd round?

I hope everyone realizes Dallas needs two players on defense that can start next year! Two players picked at pick 12 and pick 20! Two players that's it.... Any team every lucky enough to come out of drafts with two top end starters, well it's a dream draft..... only we could blow this by trading back for a bonafide special teams long snapper and six texas tech defensive guys!

This boards love for LT Overton is unreal......Obviously you don't follow the draft that closely....He's falling like a rock after the combine. He may not even get drafted @ this point. And I see your still drafting players that aren't even in the draft still. The Carter kid went back to school. Bud Clark is way too low too.....Bailey isn't making it to 1/20....

Laugh all you want. I went buy as rankings list. Not my fault tit was not up to date.
I don't waste my time researching every single player and what the lates info is. I do it for fun, and takes me 10 minutes.

I am pretty sure you are not the expert like you think you are. You are more wrong wrong on things and rarely right.

Give me your mock draft and analysis since you at=re a self proclaimed expert.

They can get a blue chip at 12. Trade back slightly and still a good starter mid to late 20's.
Get a 2nd or a 3rd round pick.
Get 2 more very good players that will contribute, and become starters in 2027.

If somehow they can get a 2nd round pick, they can end up with 3 starters. Even if that 2nd rounder doesn't start until later in the season.

If no trades, which is ok, you get 2 starters, a blue chipper and Avery good player at 20. Get a good player in the 3rd, that can eventually become a stater in 2027. But will contribute significantly in 2026. Even if he plays ST's and plays on defense as well.

12 Sonny Styles LB Ohio State

38 T.J. Parker EDGE Clemson

59 Anthony Hill Jr. LB Texas

92 Jalon Kilgore S South Carolina

121 Chandler Rivers CB Duke

141 JC Davis OT Illinois

152 Anthony Lucas EDGE USC

161 Taurean York LB Texas A&M

180 Dontay Corleone DT Cincinnati

205 TJ Hall CB Iowa

222 Alex Harkey OG Oregon

Sonny Styles slid to me at #12.

I made some trades to get me two #2 picks.

I went real heavy defense, although I did pick up a couple of O-linemen.

I grabbed some of the top LBs in the draft.

Three LBs, Two CBs, one S, two EDGE, one DT.

I think the top four are starters.
Love it!

Great site! Made a handful of trades and came out with a fantastic haul IMO. I would be drinking myself silly if this somehow became reality. :oldcouple:
