Excellent job!

I’d be quite happy with that haul.

Daylen Everette is a later favorite of mine as well. I’d love to see what our coaches might do with a player with his talents.
This is the first simulation I’ve done in a long time where Styles was available at 12. I also love the physicality that Hood/Wheatley bring, and I think Jacas is a high floor, yet high ceiling prospect.

With the trade offerings it was a bit of a “perfect storm” draft for me.

Draft Rankings based on Consensus
I would take this draft.

After this most recent upgrade, the simulator I have been using is boxing me out of the premium defenders at an alarming frequency.

Literally, the last five mock drafts I have done with this simulator had even taken McCoy away from me four times.

At #12 I am typically left with OTs and WRs. The next defender is Thieneman and I don't want him at #12.

It is also far more difficult to trade out and maintain value.

It is even more difficult to move up.

It's very possible that the best move for the team at #12 in terms of value ends up being another O-lineman.
I’ve actually been thinking about that. I took Kadyn Proctor in another one I did recently.

Decided to play this fantasy mock draft and came up with this scenario. Players I wanted initially was off the board so I loaded up on picks to go defense heavy with a focus on speed, production, and depth on the backend of the draft.

Traded away 12 for 17, then traded 17 for 25. Traded away 20 for 31

Pick 25- Colton Hood CB (Tennessee)
Solid CB who is great in man and solid in zone and great in run support 8 PBUs

Pick 31- CJ Allen LB (UGA)
3 year starter at UGA with a solid production at a position Dallas need talent at bad

Pick 50- Cashius Howell Edge (Texas A&M)
Speed Merchant off the edge 11 sacks, 14 TFL, 6 PBUs. Could push for Eze's starting position or rotational piece at worse

Pick 57- Caleb Banks DT (Florida)
Big body powerful Def tackle who can add depth behind Clark/ Williams (injured last year but played through it when most would shut it down)

Pick 63- Keionte Scott CB (Miami FL)
Fast, strong, dawg mentality, can blitz, can coverage and can take it to the house 2 pick 6s

Pick 92- Jalon Kilgore S/CB (South Carolina)
3rd CB inthe draft because we have to get this position right, hybrid player can cover TEs or Slot that has speed along with insane amount of PBUs (10)

Pick 95- Isaiah World OT (Oregon)

4 year starter in college, could be a depth piece at the very least, send a message to our current tackles on this team

Pick 112- Kyle Louis LB (Pittsburgh)
Double dip at LB because we have to get this position corrected moving forward, solid productive All ACC player with 8 TFLs

Pick 147- Anthony Lucas Edge (USC)
Love the measurables 7ft wing span and can rush from outside and inside, has some thump to his tackling

Pick 152- Tristan Leigh OT (Clemson)
Team captain, not stiff and has quick feet, inconsistent with bull rush but could still be a nice depth piece behind our current OTs

Pick 177- Roman Hemby RB (Indiana)
Depth player at position but productive in college lead team in rushing last year. Also Kick returner

Pick 180- Travis Burke OT (Memphis)
Big tackle who was first team All AAC, flexible hips and great hand placement but can overcommit at times. Still worth taking to solidify offensive line

Pick 218- Tim Keenan III DT (Alabama)
Big body frame who does well against double teams. Another depth piece to keep Clark/ Williams fresh throughout the game

In hindsight, some of these players will earlier in the draft but this would be an absolute haul if it did panned out this way.

Love what you did at LB, secondary, and offensive tackle.

Allen and Louis give us two excellent options at ILB.

I think the secondary will undergo a huge makeover this year and next. Revel may end up being the only corner still here in 2027.

And I think they want options in case Guyton and Steele struggle. World is hurt but offers a lot of athletic ability and upside.

If we got wiped out at 12, I love the concept (if possible) of trading back and having 5-6 picks between 25-80.
I probably wouldn't doublt dip at corner and would rather do that at LB and Edge, early.
Good stuff
