Watched on t.v. for as long as I can remember. But the first Cowboys game I've ever attended was Oilers-Cowboys game. Don't remember what year, but I was about 12-13-14. Oilers won.

Had fun at the game, but never actually watched it. Just kinda walked around to look at boys.

first game live....1982 season but it was January 1983, Tampa Bay
playoff game....what made it so cool was they announced ticket sales
for the following weeks game in the 3rd quarter and I ran from my seat
to a ticket window and got tickets to see us beat Green Bay the next week.
first game ever.....i was too young ( or i am now too old) to remember, but
i can remember lebaron and meredith swapping out every play and my dad
screaming at the TV about it.

1968. Was in Louisiana and the Boys were playing the Saints. I remember seeing the Star on the helmet and thought it was the coolest thing going. Watched the game at my uncles house and I ticked him off because he was a Saints fan and I was rooting for the Cowboys.

What I remember the most was the Cowboys scoring on a long pass to Bob Hayes from Don Meredith. Don't remember how long but it was cool as heck. Hayes caught a second TD pass later in the game as well. Boys won the game but I don't remember the score. I don't think the Saints scored but I am not sure about that either. I was only 5 but I have been hooked ever since. That's when I bought my first pack of these....

Players&

And I ain't looked back since.

It really is a love affair with a football team.

NFC Championship Game, January 1993. Cowboys 30, 49ers 20.

I was 7 years old and had become a "fan" after my mom bought me a Cowboys sweatshirt earlier that week (she had no idea who/what the Cowboys were... she picked it because it was blue).

I was in the San Francisco Bay Area, where my uncle was a die-hard 49ers fan... I saw the game with him, my first time watching a full football game, rooting for the Cowboys because of my new sweatshirt (plus to annoy my uncle).

By the time Super Bowl XXVII rolled around, I had all the gear... Cowboys t-shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants, Aikman jersey, cap, etc.

By the time the 1993 regular season rolled around, I was a fanatic. Been one ever since (I'm 23 now).

Living in the United Kingdom my first TV game was highlights of SBXIII. Despite losing to the Steelers, I loved how Dallas never gave up and have been a fan ever since.

My first ,and only live game, was a preseason game at Wembly stadium in London in 1986 against the Bears. My biggest memory of that game was a lovely stop of Walter Payton by Eugene "the hitting machine" Lockhart - unforgettable !

January 1, 1967. It was the first NFL Championship game played against the Packers. I walked into the living room to see my dad watching a game intensely on the tube--he had placed a bet at work that the Cowboys would win. I sat down to watch it with him and became a fan instantly. I was nine years old.

The game ended with Meredith being rushed and throwing that bad pass into the endzone, and on Dec. 31 of that year was the Ice Bowl. Man did I ever learn to hate the Packers.

My first trip to an actual game was a preseason game in 1977. I heard on the radio along the way that Groucho Marx died. And the Cowboys lost the game. Bummer of a trip.

Went up to the Vet in 1987, Boy the Eagle fans are rowdy.
It was the game where cunningham faked a kneel down at the end of the game then jumped up and threw to the endzone.

Buddy Ryan was retaliating for us running up the score when we played them eariler in the season.

I was cool seeing Tom Landry, Dorsett , Randy White , Hershal Walker in person.

Me too. Those were two disappointing games.

My first game was a preseason game against the packers (I believe) back in 1979. I was there with our High School Band and we performed at half-time.

I was a freshman and it was my first time to perform with the band, so I was scared shiXless..... LOL

That's the reason I don't recall a lot of things, but it was an Incredible experience.

Some things I do recall:

Cheerleaders walking in...
They fed us bbq brisket in the parking lot outside the stadium before the game.
The players were freaking huge..
You could stand on one side of the field, look across to the other side and you could only see about the top half of the people on the other side.
One of my buddies, a Tuba player, picked up a football and stuck it in the Tuba and kept it for himself..LOL
Taking pictures with cheerleaders after the game ( I don't know what happened to the pictures)

October 30, 1960 at the Cotton Bowl, against the defending NFL champion Baltimore Colts. We lost 45-7. About the only thing I remember is a long TD pass from Johnny Unitas to Raymond Berry. I think it was their first offense play.

So you werent a fan yet?

My first game (IN PERSON) was I believe 2004 vs. the Giants. We lost.
But I got revenge and went again in 2005 and Jose "Cinco De Mayo" Cortez kicking the game winning FG vs the Giants. lol

Roy forced Jacobs to cough up the ball near the goal line. Sweet!

Earliest memories:
Moon landing/walk in July, 1969. I was almost four years old, but I remember my old man getting me and sitting me on his lap to watch it and him telling me how important it was.
First Cowboys game I remember: the first Washington vs Dallas game in 1969. It was the next day that we left to go to my grandmother's house for Thanksgiving vacation.
It may seem funny to think a kid that isn't quite 4 years old can remember that stuff, but my Mom and Dad got divorced the following Summer in 1970. I remember sitting in the living room watching that big old black and white console t.v. that had the record player and radio in the top of it. Dad was whooping it up cause of the shilacking we were putting on the Skins.

First live game was a pre-season game in 1976. I don't even recall who we played. Me and my brother ran around looking at all the cool stuff in Texas Stadium.

First TV game.......The catch. Cowboy fan for life.

First live game....was awful Detroit 9 - Dallas 7. I think it was the game prior to Emmitt getting the rushing record. I think Hutchinson was sacked 7 times that game.

Second game...Dallas/Buffalo. Simply amazing.

Believe it or not, my first game was last year

It was the second Dallas/Giant game. 50 yard line and about 12 rows back. Great Game and great seats!

Now mind you, I have been a fan since the 70's as a kid. My worst times were the loses to the Steelers and I almost spit the bit when Jackie dropped the pass in the end zone.

I have a brother who WAS a big Philly Fan and with that comes an extreme dislike for Harold Carmichael, Wilbert Montgomery and the QB umm what's his name??? Oh yeah, Ron Jaworski!!.

My favorite Cowboy's were Staubach, Newhouse, Drew, Golden, Too Tall, and the Manster!!!

Cowboys have been my team since 1975, had my chance to go and see them live opening day in Pittsburgh in Switzer's first year as head coach.

It was almost a perfect game. We got all the razzing in pre-game (my two cousins and I were in our Cowboy gear) You could tell in the 2nd quarter how the game was going to go. I just loved the dejection of the Pitt fans. You could hear them talking among themselves "well, you can see why they won the super bowl", "they look unbeatable". It was friggin' awesome. (I know a division rival should be your most hated, but mine has always been the Steelers)
Emmitt topped 100 yards, Irvin was over 150, the defense dominated, harassing their QB (O'Donnell I think) all day long. They couldn't run or pass effectively.

All in all, a great day for all of us.

That was my first time watching the Cowboys live too.

First time at Texas Stadium was Dec 12 2004 (Day after my Birthday) when we lost to the Saints. We sat behind some Saints fans, who ironically had taken longer to Drive to Dallas from New Orleans, than we had taken to fly from London.

First Time seeing the Cowboys win was last Season against the Vikings.:beer2:

Now saving my pennies for my first trip to the new stadium:)

No, at that time. That was the only game I went to that season. I was just a kid and was not a fan of any team. I remember watching the 1958 NFL Championship game between NYG and Baltimore, so I had heard of some of the Baltimore players. In 1961, my older brother started taking me and we went to every home game. That's when I say I became a fan. We went to every home game from 1961 through 1964 and two games in 1965 before we move away.

First game on TV was SB 12.

First live game was against the Commanders in RFK in 1988. Dallas won! What a great game too. The Commander fans still had playoff hopes and they could not believe a 2-12 team beat their team.
