Our pick up this offseason, how are you liking what he's bringing to this team in our 3 games. What is he doing well, what can he do better? I feel like there's added pressure to him with the loss of Diggs. Please give your thoughts.....

As a #2 corner, he's fine. Age has caught up to him, and he doesn't have that quickness he did 4-5 years ago.

Need to see more as well the defense overall and how they gel as the season progresses. Especially now without Diggs.
Still early, as teams will evolve over the next 2 to 3 weeks.

He needs help inside to take away the in breaking routes and help over the top to compensate for his lost vertical speed. This lends itself more to zone. Of course Quinn plays more man coverage than any team in the league. I'm just glad he's only on a one year deal.

I honestly haven't been that impressed with him. He's not been bad by any means but he doesn't look like a recent DPOY.
His DPOY wasn’t that recent, it was four years ago. He’s clearly not the same player he was, which is why he’s been bouncing around the league. The Cowboys are his third team in three seasons.

JJ has a knack for obtaining players that are on the downside of their career, I'll just leave it at that.

I bet if he were on another team he'd look all pro

I think hes a great addition and had the Arizona game not happened we would all be singing his praises. The only thing with him is whats the best way to play him with Diggs gone? He seemed to thrive the first two games just staying on one side of the field, but with Diggs opposite of him you could give him saftey help over the top which is where he might be vulnerable. With Diggs now out you probably have to shift that help over to Blands side more often than not and put more on Gilmore's shoulders. The other option is you have him follow a specific WR each week, which I think could be fine depending on the match up. Personally I might go the route of putting Gilmore on a teams #2 each week and put him on a bit of an island and give Bland the #1 with help. This works great until you play a team like a Philly or Miami who have multiple studs with elite speed at receiver.
