Your move, Jerry

The only reason I think the NFC East rule of no repeats will stay in tact this season is because Washington is getting their **** together.
Always depends on free Agency and drafting impact players. Both teams are well ahead of us and despite how awful they've been, NY probably isn't far behind.

Like you said, let's just sign Micah and see where the house of cards fall.

Or trade him for as many picks (including firsts) as possible. Either is fine, but the sooner the better. Chop chop Jerry

Well, perhaps either get Parsons' deal done soon so that we can get some cap space to make deals and signings happen, or trade Parsons for as many picks as possible. That'd be a start.

That my point. But after watching the eagles dline dominate the Super Bowl, you don't trade a guy like parsons unless you're rebuilding. If they wanna trade parsons thats fine, but then with daks cap hit this year, your sending the message were going to be really bad. maybe bad enough to get arch manning if he came out? Who knows. Trading parsons would be giving up.

Or you could maximize this team. trade for myles garret. Draft a RB. Those two moves right there change your entire team. We'd be able to gets tons of pressure with just four guys. On offense dak has shown he can succeed with a solid running game. It isn't the worst plan, teams have gone out and made moves and gone for it (thinking the rams a few years back).

Either we go for it, or we rebuild, enough of this in between BS. My point is we can contend next year if this front office is willing to take risks. But if your trading your best player, your not sending a great message that we intend on competing next season. Even with the picks you'd get.

The one thing Jerry better not do is be on his damn yacht when the league year starts. He better get his yachting in now, because, when legal tampering begins, he needs to have something done with Parsons (trade or signing) so that we can start getting our **** together and into the Super Bowl.

I'd be fine with either. I'd prefer we keep Parsons, but either decision, as I said in a thread the other day, needs to be done soon! Why do we have more of a sense of urgency than Jerry? He needs to have a sense of urgency, and get a plan activated. It's why I'm going to keep saying chop chop Jerry. I want to see him show he cares and has urgency before the Giants lap us too.

Iggles aren’t losing anyone I don’t believe. They are going to run it back. The talent gap is too huge to make up in one year.

He will sign Parsons to a cap crippling contract 1 hour before the 2025 season begins.
Yes, he most certainly will and think it was the move that puts us over the top, even though he was already on the team.

The Eagles have won the Super Bowl. Here's a team that won the Super Bowl in 2018, tore the team down, sacked the coach, got rid of a QB to replace him with a then unknown, hired a new coach, went to a SB, lost, made changes, collapsed last year, and just won the SB. All the while the Cowboys have basically been in neutral never advancing beyond the NFC division round.

Your move, Jerry. I hate it, we all hate it, but it's happened. What are you going to do about it? What movies are we making this offseason (and I like the coaching staff so far, so that's a plus) that will have us in the game next year? Are we going to sit on our thumbs again before they return again? Or, is Jerry going to finally do what it takes to win a Super Bowl? The game next year is in San Francisco, a hated rival of ours. How sweet would it be to win it all on their turf? Jerry, your move! Make it happen!
I agree with you Rusty, it’s Jerry’s move. But when it’s Jerry’s move for the 29th straight time, what confidence do we have that he has even one ounce of wisdom and humility to realize he is incapable of being a serious NFL GM?

I mean it’s not even arguable at this point…he doesn’t get it, doesn’t want to change and won’t change. Hate to say it but I’m just waiting him out.

Honestly what’s our path to winning? The only thing I can see if is you really make a trade for Myles Garrett… draft a monster DT type. Build an incredible front four. Get back to running the football. Take the pressure off Dak. Draft a running back.

That’s the quickest way to being an actual contender next year.

On the opposite end… all this talk about trading parsons.. Dak has the biggest cap hit in the league next year.

Unless we make a big pickup I could see it being really bad in Dallas next year. And we’re looking to draft a qb the year after with a top 3 pick
Jerry is going on vacation from now until a week before the draft.

Then back on vacation after the draft for 2 more weeks. Then FA will start.

Meh….Jerry’s on the phone with Lurie as we speak. Congratulating him as we speak……
And razzing him about being only #11 on the Forbes list.

Those of you who thought this would spur Jerry on to spending more in FA or doing things differently are wrong. Jerry doesn't care about this outcome or what you think.

They actually have a lot of contracts that are up, but they still should be very good.
