He has done better then I thought, I was not down on getting him as he was the best that was out there at the time.

However we have seen other QBs do well at the start of the season as well...not being negative here, but I want to see a few more games.

But as of right now I don't think there is much to complain about to be honest....unless you just don't like him.

I cant prove this because i haven't been here long but in other message boards i have been saying all along that Bledsoe would play very, very good for us. I thought that because of the fact that he had Terry Glenn and Jason Witten as the main reason(Terry was his former favorite receiver along with ben coates who many say witten plays just like). I thought all along that our offensive line would play very good except for right tackle but Rob Petitti is playing well so as long as he has time he will play good. He is a huge upgrade from Vinny. And he had the best season of his career in buffalo so i dont think he is that old.

Better than Warner or Fiedler so far. Who else was available as an expierenced vet free agent? Vinny? Yikes.

The more games I watch, the less talent I see at the QB position in the NFL. There is a definite shortage of experienced, good QBs out there. There are a bunch of young guys who haven't played enough to determine if they are good or not.

I will admit he has exceeded my expectations thus far. Bledsoe has been a bright spot on this team along with the OL in pass protection. I do expect Drew and the OL to get better as the season progresses.

I always had higher hopes and expectations for Bledsoe. To this point, I think he's fulfilling those expectations pretty well. I love his toughness. I love the touch he puts on the deep-ball. But most of all, I love his leadership. I think that has been the greatest thing that he's brought to this team.

I have to give him all his due credit.

I have been pretty hard on him but have to give the devil his due.

6 TD's and 2 Picks... Not bad at All. And Keeping us in games unlike Vinny who took us out of games. The 1 INT really isnt Bledsoe's fault the other I cant remember what happened lol. Either way great play for QB so far lets hope it keeps up. Our D needs to Jell before we have a shot at the Playoff's...

Bledsoe brings experience, leadership, enthusiam, and faith in himself as a player and a leader for this team. I think the other players are starting to believe in him, too. I know Parcells does.

This two game stretch here will be crucial. If our D plays well and our o-line continues to protect, we should be competitive in both these games.

I agree......The next two games will be a huge test for this team. I will say again if we finish the 1st half of the season w/a 5-3 record we have a shot at the playoffs.

I still think we have not seen half of our D or all of our Defensive blitz packages.....as the players adjust to the scheme more will be unvailed. We must get our coverages adjusted .....like before this Sunday.

Same for the O.......we have alot left too show.

30 TD's 10 INT's and a 103 rating would be SLIGHTLY better than I predicted before the season. ;)

I thought he had a chance to be more successful in this offense, but the first 3 games are way beyond my expectations. Let's just ride the Bledsoe wave and hope the glass slipper doesn't fall off.

And fix the couple dozen or so other things on this team that actually do need fixing. QB ain't one of 'em.

It's still veeeeerrry early though...

bottomline is that Drew is a good enough QB and playing well enough right now to get us into the playoffs and have a chance to win there.
Our defense isn't there yet, but our QB play is good enough right now.
That said, I wish Drew would throw the ball downfield more often. He's too reluctant sometimes to toss it deep. It'd sure help JJ out too if we'd go deep more often. I think the playcalling has hamstrung us a bit too. I'm sure the Drew is also worried about "managing the game" "being a busdriver" and "not throwing the stupid pass"...all the things that BP drills in a QBs head.
Problem: Part playcalling, part Drew's hesitance. Overall: good enough for now and good enough to win....and many light years better than the QB play we've had ever since Troy left.

He was a Cowboy a day after released by Bills. In his system - I can see Bledsoe throwing for 4000 yards and taking this team into the playoffs.

He's won 2 Super Bowls and in many ways this is his chance to get that Monkey off his back. If nothing else - Bledsoe is going to start causing Defensive coordinators to defend his arm. And then JJ will go off! Its pick your poison.

Drew is ready to go into the Vet if need be in January and win a Championship game. I feel that strong about where this season is going. The NFC is wide open

I think Drew will go deep over time and had some big plays yesterday. If our D steps up we can go deep this season!

Best we have had since Aikman' prime, as previously mentioned. Honestly I am not too concerned about our O is our D, that worry' me. Who what have thunk it?! Cowboys scoring points!
