I'd rather take my chances, draft a QB, surround them with a good offensive line, and weapons and investment in a defense than pay Prescott 40 million and watch this team lose for certain. Paying Dak 40 million does not make this team better.

Any coach is going to be happy as hell they have one of the best young QB's in the league about to enter his prime.

The fact that you get lost on that matters little. 40 million is just some dumb number you trolls make up in your head. 35 million will be the number.

The problem is the 15 million we paid a RB.

First I disagree with the HC hire, his system has not worked in the NFL. Second, the problem with our current GM is his insistence on hiring coaches for coaches. Pick a HC, then let that guy pick his coordinators. Yes, have some input, but let the HC put the people in place that HE wants.
Thirdly, let Dak walk. He's not worth the franchise tag and the club has missed the window for getting something for him.
Lastly, Witten and Lee are walking after this season anyway so no need to worry about them.
