It'll be an issue, but money will still be priority one because most guys don't expect to ever be bothered by the disciplinary process.
I would have said that with the last CBA but I think the players see that Goodell can screw over anybody at any time even when they are cleared legally.

Past the point of no return so to speak.

The season was headed in this direction anyways.

Less stress now

Play on...
With the way this season has gone so far and how bad our defense sucks I actually think this is good news. I'd hate to fix our defense, have a strong off-season and then start next season with Zeke suspended. Let's just get it over with now in a season that isn't going to meet expectations anyway. I'm just mad that a guy who wasn't charged by the police gets suspended. I am starting to hate Goodell and the NFL as a whole. I've been fighting my disgust with the NFL but this hurts. I'm disgusted with the NFL as an organization and the bogus leadership in charge.

Let's face it, this team is pretty BAD even with Zeke. We are not winning or really even competing for a Championship with this defense. Get the suspension over with, get a better pick in the draft and really go for it next season. Dak will probably still position us for 7 or 8 wins. Garrett got his 5 year mulligan last season anyways....

I agree the prospects for this season aren't great with or without Zeke, but this goes beyond that. It goes to precedent and also to Zeke's state of mind. Will he ever be in the right state of mind again, if he isn't vindicated somehow?

It'd be better for the Cowboys if Zeke got his suspension out of the way this year rather than next. We were headed for an 8-8 season anyway.

Also Zeke hasn't been all that effective anyway and Morris has arguably had just as much impact in the limited exposure that he's had.

Like hambrick replacing Emmitt right...

What if the players kneeled, then Jerry suspends them leaving them short of 53, and forcing them to forfeit every game the rest of the season.

That would be the way to intentionally tank, while upsetting the powers that be. The NFL has essentially done the same thing, in reverse, on Zeke. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I am ticked off right now. Lol

PS- Just bringing humor to your point. In no way would I seriously ever say give up. Tanking for premium pick position, never works out. Look at Cleveland.
CAPITAL IDEA!,,, by golly bleed blue,,, that would certainly fulfill my desire of JJ not fielding his franchise to participate ,,,out of outraged protest due to this unjust league decree:lmao:

Dude... What? Almo has had damn successful seasons. Hambrick was a certifiable 'tard who never did anything by himself.
Why the hell do you like to simplify your ish to the point it's a joke?
