Technically getting to the playoffs is predicated on regular season success. But I keep reading how important long runs are every day yet the guys showing up in the playoffs overwhelmingly are not really known for them. It's just weird that Emmitt, a guy never known for breakaway speed, played in one less playoff games than Sanders, Sayers, Dickerson and Peterson combined. Weird.. isn't it? Seems like steady production and moving the chains is more conducive to winning football than these highlight reel runs. But you can't convince fantasy nerds of that. I mean Saquon Barkley is bound to help his team get to the playoffs at SOME point doesn't he? All those amazing highlights have to count for something don't they?

RonaldT24 provided this link (above) and ironically, it’s been an absolute gem in supporting the notion that Zeke is barely a middling-level NFL running back.
BTW, Zeke has six (6) runs of 10+ yards this season on 94 carries. By comparison, Pollard has seven (7) on just 54 carries so far this season.
Lean on a quality running game and play action for some easy throws for Dak ala 2016.With a quality defense now that should be the formula for success.Don’t know if KM will call it that way though. You mean since he tore a ligament in his knee and had to keep playing because the coaching (rightfully) didn't trust Pollard not to get out QB killed? Yes Zeke is being paid like a feature back. But the OC doesn't want to use him as a feature back. Hard for me to put the blame on Zeke for that. Unless you know something we don't about who is calling plays?
My grammar is fine but my typing on a mobile phone sucks. That you don't know the difference speaks volumes...lecturing me how oh so very smart you are.A short gallop into the endzone does denote speed. There is a reason why they do not run a 10 or 14 yd sprint at the combine. Your take is just as bad as your grammar.
Somebody mentioned Chubb so I looked up Cleveland stats. Chubb leads the league in rushing and has 5.9 ypc.I pulled the numbers myself and threw it in a table, but you can use any source for the game log info.
Pat Mahomes has more 20+ yard runs than Zeke.
Zeke has just five (5) 40+ yard runs in 1,744 career carries. That literally means he’s broken a long one on just 002% of his career runs.
Jonathan Taylor had five of those runs (40+ yards) in 2021 alone on just 332 carries.
