Yep...…………...that's why I wouldn't take a RB high.
But I don't agree that running is the strength. Clearly I see the passing game as the strength of the team now.
Oline is strong, but these young guy have to step up.
I believe this OL are considered better run blockers then they are in pass protection. With Dak emergence as a passer, it should only help the ground attack.
I think you see bigger gains this year and a more effective running game. If only for the fact that we have a better scheme and less predictable play calling.
But that center position is key. Run game wont be improving going from Frederick to Looney.
Remember we won the division and a playoff game with Looney as the team;s starting Center. We aren't replacing the all pro Frederick but last year's version of him. Where the team may suffer is Frederick;s pre snap block protection calls. This is all assuming Looney wins the job, the Wisconsin kid reportedly biggest strength is as a run blocker.
Yep, I have heard this mantra many times. Is winning one playoff game your goal? Line gave up 56 sacks that year and only 23 once Frederick returned, even at 70%.
We cannot have a backup at center if we want to dominate with the line. Even a good backup.
Football outsiders, look it up yourself. I could provide a link but like I said earlier, I’m sick of doing your research for you and this thread has nothing to do with Dak.
When you see me comment about what I think about Dak then feel free to ask your questions, until then I’m not playing your little games but I’m sure theres hundreds, if not thousands, of people who you can argue with about your opinions of him.
A wise thought --Puttyism at it's best --Go CowboysZeke has declined since his big pay day. I don't see him having an MVP season. Nor do I think he's "the team's best player". There's no such thing unless one player is the "best" at all positions.
The Front Office actually has done a good job protecting themselves at the position. They have two high valued young prospects, but if there aren't ready a player like Looney can be an effective bridge starter. Those 56 sacks were a combination of things, I believe if Looney had to start again, that experience will only help him being a better player.
And I told you the stats/rankings, it’s not my job to answer your detailed questions. I also gave you the source so you’re that if interested in all the minute details then put on your big boy panties and look them up yourself.Um...when YOU make the claim..it's YOUR job to "look it up". Not mine. You are the one playing games.
i really think we continue to be more of a passing team than the Zeke previous running attack - it began to head that way under Moore
and for Zeke to have MVP type aspirations, he is gonna have to lead the entire NFL in rushing And i don't think that will happen under
the McCarthy-Moore regime.
It's not out of the question as Edgerrin james was a back to back rushing champion in 1999 and 2000, even with Peyton Manning running the show
in Indy, but defenses are not gonna back off and spread out in attention the way they did Peyton.
That kept them from stacking against James.
i do think ( and hope) Zeke will be a 1300-1400 yd rusher
Yep.........looney is a stop gap, nothing more. If this Oline wants to get back to elite, we need Biadasz to win the job ASAP. Glad they recognized the issue and weren't like many of the fans on here that were perfectly happy with Looney starting for us.

Best back in the nfl. All i gotta say. But mcaffrey was last year. Im factoring in Zeke past 3 years
Random website? Have you even looked at it? It’s the most comprehensive site related to offensive lines there is, find me one better. It clearly explains how each statistic is broken down and there are several. What more do you want?LOL....dude....YOU are the one that made a CLAIM. "Zeke has benefited more by the o line than dak". So YOU PROVE IT! You have NOT...you keep blaming ME for your stupidity and laziness.
Then you act like the martyr about it...a victim. You gave me some random web site to go search for myself.
You STILL have not backed up your claim..but go ahead and keep blaming me for not proving YOUR OWN POINT FOR YOU.
YOU....put on your big boy pants and prove your own point. Stop playing the martyr victim...and do what you are supposed to do. I am willing to look and listen...if you'd just do it.
Yup and im really not interested in debating it with dudes on here. Same dudes that were hyping up david johnson and todd gurley. Just exposing themselvesRight on. Everyone has a great season here or there. But doing it season after season....not that easy.
I do agree....being suspended and holding out is...problematic. It's as bad as being injured. Not worse....since the body isn't being broken. But if you ain't there you ain't there.
Take that way...and he has indeed been the best all around back in the league for 4 straight years.
Looney won’t cut it. Can’t sugar coat it. At some point your homerish defense of every player has to stop.I really believe drafting McGovern two years ago was an insurance policy if Travis wasn't able to ever return. Heard that MM was the driving force of making a trade for Biadasz. There are several options at the position and all are better than what we saw pre-Travis. Do I dare mention Phil Costa's name.
