I don't believe that!Or he is a selfish punk who really does not care about anything but his narcissistic self.

This game was over in the first half. Nothing changed after the rain delay. That's when I knew it was over. There are some games were I can sense they have it within them to come back. They did it several times last season and almost did it in the playoffs. But that doesn't mean it's never over til it's over. They were getting beat by a better team not because of their own mistakes. Mistakes can be corrected and over come, better teams are just going to beat you down no matter what you do. The Cowboys can learn from this and be the better team the next time they meet. But in this game by the end of the 3rd qtr the contest was over. Our playmakers were over their head. This kind of game tells me what matters... it's not DLaw getting sacks, it's not the defensive secondary getting INTs or Dez catching 2 TDs. We did all those things and the team still got waxed. The thing that matters most is Zeke running the ball. If he can't get going, we can't win. When the O-line loses in the trenches we can not win. I saw that battle being lost early in the game so it was a hopeless cause to continue thinking they'll turn it around that game. What they can do it watch the tape and not repeat those mistakes. I have not given up on the Cowboys season. I still expect them to bounce back and take no prisoners next week. But that game at Mile High Stadium was futile after the 3rd qtr.
By that point in the game I had quit on the game too so why would I blame Zeke for doing the same. He quit, so what. His quitting didn't cost the game... it was already lost. Zeke got beat up yesterday because others didn't do their job and so how is he suppose to care at that point in the game?
It is a thing. Zeke's demeanor is troubling to me. He has no spark right now and I don't mean just because he was stuffed all game. He looked subdued in the Sunday Night game too. Even his "feed me" celebration looked lethargic. But yesterday took the cake. He stood there with his hands on his hips and made no effort to help his team. You have to show up whether things are going good or bad, especially if they're going bad. This game was over, but what if there was a chance to mount a comeback? With his attitude, it wouldn't be possible.
I don't care what anybody says, the legal proceedings are getting to him.
I think if the game was closer you would have seen some effort.
Basically. This is some people whining and wanting people to do things they wouldn't even do the equivalent of at their own jobs. Heck outta here with that junk.Who cares? The guy has been taken to the woodshed for a false DV claim and the game was well out of reach. This is making a mountain out of a molehill so of course some members of the idiotic media with its agenda will look again to demonize him, this time for something entirely insignificant.
I think the constant media criticism could be taking its toll on his enthusiasm. Can't blame the guy.
Remember what it did to Greg Hardy. Ruined his life. He was never the Kraken again. He became an introvert.
These are young guys just out of their teen years. He will be fine in the end.
I'd be more surprised if he wasn't effected by this.
I don't think he looked all that great last week. The line blocked better and he got opportunities and made the best of them, but he had that same glossy-eyed forlorn look on his face in game 1. Even the "feed me" didn't look enthusiastic like last season. Either the proceedings are weighing heavy on him or something else is wrong.Or maybe he never got back to back carries all game and got one carry the first 2 drives. He was not apart of the game plan at all. You see it in sports all the time. Guys get deflated if they are not apart of the game. Not saying it is wrong or right but its what happens. How can you say it is the legal proceedings when he had a good game last week?
would not have caught him unless you just wanted to see some meaningless effort.
I imagine I would struggle with my job performance also if I was facing the type of media scrutiny he was getting. Heck, my job performance takes a hit on the day after the Cowboys lose and I am a grown man with 3 children.Good read. We tend to think of these players as matured men due to their size . In fact they are in most cases just out of college and entering the real world for the first time. Still in the protected/adored shell of todays sports environment so not yet exposed like the rest of us to the trials of the real world.
I hear you but unless its the same person saying the same things its really not a point IMO. I think Witten gets silence because people drop passes. Heck that's why I personally haven't said nothing about that or Dez dropping a ball. I don't care much about Zeke running for the int. That is some emo fans IMO asking these players to do things just for looks sake when from what I've heard dude was on the other side of the field. I didn't see that play. In general though I feel like one too many fans asks these players to do things they don't even do themselves at their own jobs just want to whine because these players control their emotions so much during the game. You can tell the sad agenda driven analysis by some of the fanbase...
Ex: Dez let's a ball clank off his hands for an INT.
Response: "That bum! He's no longer elite! He's trash"
Ex: Witten drops a would-be TD catch that would have put us back in the game.
Response: [Silence]
Ex: Zeke quits on the team and doesn't help chase down the DB after the pick.
Response: "Meh, can't blame him. He was just frustrated."
Then we watched two different games my friend. The O-line was getting dominated. We can't win those games.I just legitimately feel as though Denver was not the better team. Both teams were evenly matched.
Denver outdid us in preparation and mental approach. It wasn't even close mentally. I have always placed deficits of that nature on coaching.
I imagine I would struggle with my job performance also if I was facing the type of media scrutiny he was getting. Heck, my job performance takes a hit on the day after the Cowboys lose and I am a grown man with 3 children.
Zeke did quit on that play. There is no excuse. He should apologize to his teammates and say it will never happen again.
Nothing changed? I recall seeing our defense make a few plays giving our offense a chance to get us in the game. It was the offense's repeated failure to capitalize on those opportunities that gave us no chance to win. That took more time to develop. That's why I give it an extra quarter before the gig was up.This game was over in the first half. Nothing changed after the rain delay. That's when I knew it was over.
So everybody just stand there and watch the guy take the ball into the endzone. Doesn't matter, game's over right - what's the big deal. Zeke is the only one who did his job the entire game - really.
Have you EVER played one second of any competitive sporting event? I mean ever?
quick show this thing to Zeke.Larry Allen and I both disagree.
