Zeke on the INT is about to be a thing

I don't see a connection, but OK.

You can pick out any 'incident' and try and establish some sort of track record of particular behavior. One data point doesn't define an attitude. Sometimes you observing something is simply a matter of the camera panning at the 'wrong time'.

I do get the impression that Zeke is more about self and less about team. His history is consistent with that.

By the time he wakes up and grows up, he may live somewhere else.

Practical historical reality demonstrates that when Zeke runs the ball, his teams win, irrespective of impressions about what he is like..

If anything, the play calling gave up on him... 9 times running the ball..

Peter King wrote about it on his MMQB, stating he quit on the play. Yeah...I guess. Would I like him to chase down the play on some "anything could happen", sure. Anything could also be tweaking hammy chasing down the play. I don't recall but is this the first or second INT? Was it right in front of him?

They should make it a big thing

Zeke and Byron Jones and Dez, the DTs, LBs, and the entire OL were an embarrassment yesterday

Dak is who he is, a good QB who can be great but is not elite. He needs the rest of the pieces to be in good order and working well. Yesterday he had little chance

The most embarrassing person is the HC who will throw his QB and anyone else not named jones, under the bus to deflect blame from himself

Then we watched two different games my friend. The O-line was getting dominated. We can't win those games.
OK. So if it wasn't mental, explain to me how the top rated rushing attack last year managed to only garner 8 yards. Was Doug Free that important?

Eh I don't think Dak is who he is...Yet. Has 19 starts and plenty of room to grow.

Man, I'm really split on Zeke.

On the one hand, he's a kid who is being "tried" in the media by the NFL for a heinous act that he quite possibly didn't commit. That's gotta be tough on you.

On the other hand, you could make the case that he's just not the right kind of guy, between his history of partying, incidents with women, reports of being a dick to fans, being out of shape right now, comments at Ohio State, etc. Him giving up on that play and looking disinterested in general is the latest talking point.

I hear you but unless its the same person saying the same things its really not a point IMO. I think Witten gets silence because people drop passes. Heck that's why I personally haven't said nothing about that or Dez dropping a ball. I don't care much about Zeke running for the int. That is some emo fans IMO asking these players to do things just for looks sake when from what I've heard dude was on the other side of the field. I didn't see that play. In general though I feel like one too many fans asks these players to do things they don't even do themselves at their own jobs just want to whine because these players control their emotions so much during the game.

You heard wrong. Dude was maybe 20 feet from him. And he slowed down inside the ten to try to avoid tacklers. A perfect opportunity for Zeke to strip the ball from behind had he given chase. No pass from me. I'm ready to bench him for that crap.

Nobody cares about your pass just like they don't about mine. People are funny in that way thinking we really matter more than we think we do.

You obviously didn't see the play. There is absolutely no defending his not trying to run down the DB. What if he would have fumbled? Zeke standing 40 yards away with hands on hips probably wouldn't have recovered the ball.

It just a amazes me that some people who want us to do well would defend his actions.

Daryl johnston was on FS1 and was asked what he thinks of the play. He said that kind of play is not in his makeup. When asked what he and the team would say to Emitt if that happened to him. He said, "We would say nothing because that would never happen to Emitt"

Either the league is persecuting you, or you are trying to get away with a crime. Either way, it's a mind-*****.

People say the same about people on you're side too. That play don't make or break jack spit. That is just one of those I'm emotional so let me find something to whine about plays to me. Everybody wants the Boys to do well that don't mean we all agree on everything and this is one of those things. I don't care about false hustle plays that really aren't changing much but if you do have a ball with it.

What does that have to do with establishing a track record?

Pretty sure he gets paid the same regardless. So ******* play. I dont care what the score is, i expect full effort. He owes it to fans that are out here sticking up for his dumb *** every day.

LOL, no not everyone. Just the ones that were behind the play. Just the ones that had no chance to make a play. Just the one's that had been running the ball and getting mugged in the process up to that point because others aren't doing their job. You joke about "everybody" as if those were my words. Those were not my words. I'm just talking about Zeke and he had no chance to be a factor in minimizing the return of that INT.

Have you EVER pulled your head out of your butt to comprehend the words on the screen? I mean ever?

Don't play those games with me little man because I will bring it. You brought this one yourself, so wise up and stay down!

LOL, c'mon man, I owned you in the Romo debates when you had no answers and your inference was that he not try just because as you say "nobody else is doing their job" is laughable and you gave him a pass based on that. I'd love a poll on who thinks that is a good idea.

As far as the "bring it" stuff it's is a waste of energy. It's a message board the day after a bad loss, I'm not getting sucked in.

I made my point - you made yours - thread closed.
