Zeke isn’t better than Barkley.
What's Barkley done for his team?

I would like to further discuss this, since I've joined I have seen so many post about "Zeke overrated", "Zeke overpaid", "Zeke is average". Can someone demonstrate to me a person who has two rushing titles(would of had three if it wasn't for bs), and is currently 7th in rushing(game behind some people in front of him), and that makes him AVERAGE? By being 7th in the league that means there are roughly 25 starting RB who have less yards than him. Thats above average by definition people. You know whose getting paid that isn't producing, Todd Gurley.
Long Runs- "We need the home run hitter", "Someone like Saquon that got that speed". Another person said that "Home run RB's win games". LOL, lets examine that shall we. Among the top runners with Zeke, Nick Chubb has the longest run so far, it it was ONLY about that home run hitter, than his team would be winning more games, people were saying that they would trade Aaron Jones for Zeke, his longest run is 15.
The fact of it is, Zeke is top 5 running back, and to me the best in the league but im bias, so my unbiased right now CMC is, and Zeke is next. But in no way shape or form will I say I would trade CMC for Zeke. And the people that say, "Zeke only has yards because the offense opens holes", yeah DUH thats the point of the game. Cook, McCaffrey, Fournette lines also block very well on the run, they NEED them too. Don't be hypocrites please. He may not be home run threat, but he plays physical football and runs hard every down; there will always be someone better at something, we just need to be happy we have a back who has been at the top for every season he's been in the league.

Sounds like this guy has both football and fans completely figured out.Zeke is a great player on the field. Off the field though...
Smart fans are looking at the RB position and see the value of it as being low. Not a knock on Zeke but it is a fact. Not many rushing leaders winning SBs. Smart fans also overlay the lifespan of a RB. Historical analysis shows the drop off in the mid to late 20s to be severe. Again data backs this up. While Zeke is a great player smart fans see the off the field risks and worry about Zeke self destructing. Smart fans also see a changing league where throwing the football is encouraged by the rule. Again that is all fair and true.
Fanboys think Zeke should just be paid the most because he is the bestest RB in football and looks super cool with the fake spoon first down. Cause Zeke is the best and salary caps are too hard to understand so let’s just forget about fact based analysis and do what most teams in the league do not do and pay Zeke the mostest.
How many games has that won for them?Run the ball and catch the hall out of the backfield.

Barckley is a great RB
He’s dynamic
He’s a true big play back running and receiving
But Zeke is pretty dang good himself and I’m betting has more rushing yards at the end of the seaso
We are waiting for the end of the season to pay Prescott. And that was his wish. He's betting on himself. To have a great season. He doesn't want to get paid yetWell than why would I have to wait to the end of the season? In that case we should wait till the end of the season to pay Dak and Amari or Byron, just wait for everything because we don't know.. hes already through three seasons proved it thats why im saying he is not overrated or overpaid. He is not a one hit wonder.
Best blocking RB in the league, top 3 at running the ball, and top 5 at catching the ball out of the back field. I don't really know what else you could ask for in a running back...
I am Spock...
When he's singing the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins!

Zeke is the best running back in the NFL. Thqt hasn't changed. What's changed, is the game. Now, you got little squirters shooting off like misjudged sharts.
So, let me ask you this, running back to running back:
30 seconds left in the Superbowl and you have fourth and inches to get into field goal range, who are you taking over Zeke?
Best blocking RB in the league, top 3 at running the ball, and top 5 at catching the ball out of the back field. I don't really know what else you could ask for in a running back...
He’s definitely not top 5 at catching or running.
He’s also the highest paid. Which is the biggest issue.

agreed, and to add another thing. he’s the best back we’ve had since emmitt.I hear you.
Allow me add two additional points.
The common perception to being a great back typically combines speed and ability to break tackles. Zeke's detractors point out that Zeke is often through the line before he is even touched. They further claim that Zeke has "lost a step".
It never seems to occur to them that perhaps the greatest RB's, the ones that last a lot longer, have the ability and patience to take a few tenths of a second to determine the best route through a hole and that is why they don't have to break tackles at the line. Rather than concluding that a RB has lost a step, perhaps it is experience that has taught them to allow things to develop.
The best way to illustrate this is the tired old Emmitt/Barry debate. Look, Sanders got the kryp beat out of him, he got tired of it, flat quit, end of story. Emmitt's "vision", that is, ability to find the right hole, kept him healthier, allowed to let him to stay in the game longer. True, he didn't look as dynamic, exciting, all he did was set the all time record. He didn't need the physical gift of elite speed or size like Herchel and Bo, he basically doubled both their careers with football intelligence.
RB's and offensive lines are "chicken and egg" debates when it comes to reason for a RB's success. It is a symbiotic relationship. But what good is a great run offense if the RB can't figure out where to go? Tell me again about the success of Joseph Randle a year after Murray set the all time Cowboy season record with the same line.
The second point involves the basic concept of football, the team with the most points after 60 minutes of play is the winner. This is accomplished by a combination of scoring points and preventing other teams from scoring points.
Zeke is a valuable asset in both of these concepts.
His ability to get every kind of yardage in a consistent manner extends drives, eats up the time of possession, and keeps the opponent offense on the bench. This ability should never, but often is, underestimated.
I'll bet of the Cowboy defense doesn't underestimate it.
These quicker elusive type RB's aren't consistant enough when it comes to extending drives and controllng the TOP
Since moving the chains is more conducive to winning, and Zeke is decidedly better at that facet, I'd say he is.Zeke isn’t better than Barkley.
Put Barkley on the Cowboys and see what happens. How many games has that won for them?
