The great Earl Campbell never lacked for contact and he did all right.

Earl Campbell was one of the most powerful backs in the history of the NFL. He would run over defenders and was gone but it led to a short career. He was pretty much finished by the time he was 28 and is now cripple. The contact is taking its toll on Zeke. If it wasn’t for all his guaranteed money he wouldn’t be here. This will be his last season with the Cowboys.

Runs to darkness, so even with a new nasty blocker like Smith in front of him he'll probably disappoint again after week 4. Pollard on the other hand I expect to play his way into starter cash somewhere else behind our retooled line.

In the past few years he’s become a 3 to 12 yard push the pile back. He’s still a good player provides very few big plays.

Zeke = Jump cuts, quick lateral movement, explosive side to side, and makes people miss. Then, as some have posted, game day = run straight through the line looking for contact with his head down! FACT!

It’s hard to tell how fast he is because he’s not elusive and can’t avoid anyone. It’s almost like he looks for contact.

He absolutely looks for contact. Problem is he can't bulldoze people like he used too.

Only thing Pollard has on Zeke, is he is shiftier, quicker on his cuts.
Zeke will bounce back, just needs to stay healthy, but they all do.
Even Pollard with his heel issue. That is harder to overcome and not to reoccur as opposed to slight knees sprains or tears.

I’m sorry but whether it’s long speed, short speed, cut speed…Pollard is just flat out faster than Zeke.

I don't care how fast Zeke runs, he can't run over 8 yards at a time. No stiff arm, no avoidance. Just run forward and go down. Witten had better moves than Zeke.

Zeke is done give it a rest. He never dedicated himself 100% like so many others have to this game. If he did he would be elite like he was his rookie season. He will be gone in less than a year.
