Lol. Are you just joking around? That was the second quarter from what I remember. Also remember, GB scored 13 straight points to close the game and would have scored more if they needed it to close the game. They got into FG range just running out the clock. And there was a safety deep that would have encountered Murray on his run.
umm we know how you feel about zeke, if that were Zeke fumbling, you'd bring it up weekly, thats a fact..hater.

it was a big part fo the loss, not the lone reason , also 2 missed Fgs and the d not stopping brady and the catch no catch.,

So let me get this straight. You are using Murray's numbers against Zekes when Zeke didnt play the full season? And had a Rookie QB throwing the ball who no teams were afraid of? If anything you just proved my point further. If Zeke had Romo to stop the stacked boxes Zeke was facing Zeke would have beaten Dickersons rookie record. Lets also throw fumbles into the mix. And also receiving. Show me Murray taking a screen pass 60 yards to the house.
I factored in their carries - even saying that Zeke would have had more yards than Murray with similar carries. Reading is key. However, it's not THAT much more to suggest his season was "generational".

NOTHING Zeke did that season was generational. You know who is generational? Zack Martin. Having another HOF in Smith also helps.

"Peak Zeke" lasted about a season and a half and put up similar numbers to Murray.

Draft status clouding judgements here.
Peak Zeke won the rushing title 2 out of 3 years and would have had 3 if he wasn't suspended. Funny enough. Zeke was so good he didn't play for 6 weeks and was still in the top 7 of RBs that season.

Funny how you left out. If Zeke had Romo he would have done even better

Elliott has had his fair share of fumbles as well - 2 seasons with 6 fumbles and one with 5. They weren't that far off, he got really lucky in his rookie season that only one of his 5 were lost the same as his 2018 season. That wasn't the case in 2020 when he had 5 lost fumbles out of 6.

Zeke is honestly not that far off from Murray in the fumbling department. To put in perspective

Murray had 18 fumbles on 1,604 carries and Zeke has 22 fumbles on 1,873 carries
Good points it just seems Murray tended to fumble when it counted the most. Maybe that is just me and I do not know if some of his sideline fumbles were counted since they went immediately out of bounds.

If Murray doesnt fumble Cowboys go up by 20 plus. They would have just run the clock out. Ill take Murray 1 on 1 vs a safety all day.

Speaking of. The drive after the fumble is when Cobb "Caught" the ball off of a bounce off the grass.
Stop. Just looked it up and it happened at the start of the 3rd Quarter. Dallas was up 14-10. Green Bay only got a FG off the fumble to make it 14-13. Even if Dallas scored to make it 21-10, I just told you that Green Bay scored 13 straight points to close the game and potentially could have had 20 if they needed it. That would be 30-21 Green Bay, potentially. So they wouldn't have packed it in at the start of the 3rd Quarter.

Volume carries will often get RBs the rushing title....

Zeke's peak was 2016 and 2017...while being behind one of the best offensive line groups in the history of football. That 2018 season for Zeke was a good year where he was force fed the ball. There was nothing remarkable about that season. He put up 1,434 yards and 6 TDs on 304 carries. His long was 44 yards. There were signs there that Zeke was losing his burst. Oh and he fumbled 6 times, a knock we put on Murray.

I think a lot of it has to do with the playoff game - but that was a combination of Martin getting blown up and Peppers just making an outstanding play. But Murray used to run loose with the ball, I'm not entirely sure what Zeke's problem is, he usually holds the ball well. Not sure how defenders knock it loose that often.

Zeke was better in Dallas overall but Demarco's 2014 was better than Zeke's 2016.

Those 2014-2019 offensive lines where outstanding.
Murray had a great 2014, but man, the gaping holes and no defenses loading the box didn't hurt.

I always think of him as someone who put together 1 great year, another very good year, and the rest nothing outstanding

Zeke's 2016 if Romo started would be been much better than both Zeke 2016 and Murray 2014. Murray's worst day was when Weeden was QB and he faced stacked fronts and totaled 79 yards rushing against the Cardinals.

Zeke was the best RB against stacked fronts that year, he actually led the league.

Lol. When have I been a Zeke hater? And you got your GOATs wrong. We were playing Rodgers that day, bro. Stay off the drugs.

His rookie season was actually really good, but injury cut it short. Sucks because we really needed him down the stretch.

Peak Murray > Peak Zeke.

Murrary owns the Season record for most yards rushing & from scrimmage.

The only thing Zeke was better at was avoiding injuries early on

Murray had Bill Callahan and great o-line to get those numbers. If Dallas would've kept Bill Callahan during Zeke prime, I wouldn't doubt Zeke reaching 1800+ rushing.

Zeke was a much better runner on first down and second. Zeke was defintely eating and it's clearly a HOF worthy-type year, especially with the QB whose arm threatened nobody at that point.

Zeke's 2016 performance was pretty legit HOF worthy considering the QB and the dink and dunk, game-management offense. He was still a big-play
