Does anyone feel like it will be a waste of plays and downs running zeke against SF?

We need to use pollard strong in this game if we want to seriously win.

There is no use *****footing around with zeke in this game. The only time I'd run zeke is literally on "a down & 1", "a down & inches" goalline, or to give pollard rest, and even at that...it should be a pass play where zeke is blocking.

I hate saying this stuff but SF is not the game to overly or even halfway showcase zeke.
No....Zeke isn't the runner that Pollard is, but he has a purpose....not worth me explaining it. If you don't get it, you never will.

Take a shot with me every time you see 3 or more of our OL standing up and looking back at a sack or tackle for loss this Sunday. This makes me sick.

It's sad that we have to feel this way but truth is truth he's SLOW he doesn't do much of anything. I say give him a few runs, can't make it obvious on short yardage you give it to him it'll be a stop for -6 yards lol

SF defense is too good for the drive killer. Dallas will not be able to dig themselves out of holes like they could against a lesser team such as Tampa Bay. Be efficient and move the ball. There's no time for giving people useless carriers in order to "soften up" the defense. Most people here are too young or too old to remember what a real powerback is. Zeke ain't it.

Not even close, those power backs were able to actually get yards Zeke just can't it's a pain to this offense

1) Pollard is a Top 5 RB, start him!
2) I blame the coaches n Jerry for this nonsense. You can't say you want win and insist on playing inferior players.
3) Play Malk Davis over Zeke.
4) Flat out release, Zeke in offseason.
5) Pay Pollard however.
6) Half the UFA n up to the 5th round draftable RBs are better than Zeke now.
7) When ppl glorify only the blocking and 1 yard plunges from a "running" back who is slow footed y'all pray for them.
8) I've always liked #21, but it's about the team with me.
9) Dallas won't beat the 9ers defense giving sentimental carries to Zeke, they need speed at RB vs a fast defense.
10) Lastly, I want to give props to TP for being a great teammate and being unselfish.

.6 and 9 are the best lol

How about 5-6 pitch plays to Pollard and Davis and let them work those corners.

There's so many different ways to attack than Duck Duck Goose up the middle to Zeke for a yard.

But like our strategy is every week we'll run it w Zeke and Check it down to Schultzkowski a dozen times to take what the defense gives us.

Same strategy since 2010-11

Schultz is gonna have to play well 2 weeks in a row if he is averaging 9 targets per game like he has over the past 3 games. Js

He's only scored a TD in 4 games all year long
.

Funny post lol and people wanted OBJ how would he feel knowing the TE gets all the passes

Zeke will be needed for toughness. SF is not a finesse D. Having said that keep running Pollard the majority please
Right. Zeke will be needed to pound the defense for a couple 2-3 yard runs which will open up things for Pollard.

The fantasy football crowd doesn't value toughness. Zeke will be needed in this game... If only to keep the 49ers from taking Dak's head off 2-3 times. But something tells me he might have a good game this week. It's all about how well his body can recover. He's got 21 carries total in the last two games. That's gotta make recovering a lot easier on teh body.
I have moved past it....but I will always maintain that guys like Zeke and Pollard should have not taken 1 snap against Washington. We knew the postseason would be a 4 game tournament. We know Dak needs a running game to increase his effectiveness. The wear and tear on their bodies in situation where way too much that would have to go right for us to win the division was not worth the risk. We had beaten Washington with Cooper Rush earlier in the year. They were playing there 3rd string QB. This was the game to see #34 carry the load and let the horses rest for the long road ahead. I guess since we beat TB everyone has moved past it....but like I said....this is a 4 game tournament...so lets hope we dont run out of gas.

What we dont need is being transparent (Dak inside, Pollard outside run). Same goes for Dak, 49ers need to employ a spy otherwise they'll flood the secondary.

'Playing off' the inside run to facilitate space out wide and deep....but dont telegraph it.

I believe that is right, they should give Zeke a FB, I think the young OC like Kellen undervalue the position, imagine Emmitt without Moose, totally different story.
I love Zeke I hope he has a good game this monday.
....Our offense definitely needs a good blocking FB. McGovern in the backfield last game, as a power package.....was ineffective. Both backs need a FB.....a good one. KMoore dismantled that approach the moment he became OC.

all I care about whoever is getting the ball at RB, run hard, keep legs churning and hold on to the ball. I expect both backs to go out and do their jobs.

We are still going to need Zeke to wear down their defense with his physical play.

Let see what happens. He will get his yards. He usually starts the game when teams are fresh and toughest against the run.

- Instead of the Anti-Zeke hatery and skepticism ... couldn't there be a case where his Brutus like sheer lower leg power and knack for the goal line
and end zone comes in handy ?

- Couldn't there be a case where Zeke's angry physical hard runs helps us set a physical tone vs Niners tacklers ? What about his crucial blitz blocking?
and game experience during this very tough trip to the Bay, on the road, in loud hostile crowd and knowing assignments, adjustments with Dak (blitz) ?
Would that come in handy ?

- Yes, he's a plodding bell cow at this point, and everyone knows the playmaking game changer clearly now is Pollard.
And Pollard is gonna get bigger touches- regards if he starts or comes off the bench as the games goes on.
But the way you're deciding to exert hatery and taking a personal tone against Zeke i dont see the need for it.
