The woman who accused Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott of domestic violence admitted to NFL investigators having a text exchange in which she discussed leveraging sex videos featuring her and Elliott for money from the player, according to documents obtained by Yahoo Sports.

The actual text is in the link, this poor girl sounds like she needs some serious counseling.

Been saying this all along, unfortunately, her being a liar doesn't mean it didn't happen:
The texts and email registration don’t disprove the domestic violence allegations Thompson has made against Elliott, nor do they address the central issue of whether violence occurred. Furthermore, the league indicated physical and circumstantial evidence – including bruises appearing on Thompson’s body during a week she and Elliott were sharing a room – was enough to conclude that Elliott committed domestic violence. But with Thompson being cited as the NFL’s only firsthand witness to the events she is alleging, a source close to Elliott said his lawyers and the NFLPA have seized upon the exchange to question aspects of motive and credibility in an appeal filed on Tuesday.

While none of this appears to be evidence that can conclusively clear Elliott of domestic violence, the NFLPA and his lawyers believe it speaks to the credibility aspect that may ultimately determine the success of his appeal.

The amount of evidence the league ignored that cut right to the credibility of this woman is starting to make my brain hurt.

I hope you burn Roger.
Again though, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. That's the point that so many people are missing. Is she the scum of the earth? It appears that she is. But, that doesn't mean that he's incapable of harming her, and this isn't about her, this is about him.

Except this isn't the only evidence here. On top of this issue, you have eye witness accounts of her saying she would ruin his life, you have text messages threatening Elliott that she would take him down, you have a very clear case of where she was caught lying about at least one of the incidents where she claimed she was abused, etc.

And all the NFL has is essentially that she has bruises and that they can put Elliott with her the week she claimed she was abused. That's it. That's really all they have.

Maybe the NFL has better evidence they haven't released but at this point, the trend here seems to be that it's very, very plausible this girl has fabricated the entire situation.

It's about her too if she is the only witness to her side of it. If she's a proven liar and maybe even an extortionist, then she has no credibility. Her credibility or lack thereof makes it about her too.

True but it does not mean he did it either. Because this woman says it happened that means it happens? There comes a point that you look at the action to determine credibility. She is asking others to lie and claim he beat her and they have sworn it did not happen. There is sworn statements that she has threatened to ruin his career if he leaves her. Sure none of us know the full details but at some point you have to look at the actions of a person to determine how credible they are.

It goes straight to her credibility in what ended up a he-said, she-said.

We'll never know the full story because the NFL said they weren't going to release their full findings. Either way, just because she's a liar, doesn't mean he's incapable of hitting her. I genuinely hope that he didn't, and that his legal team goes scorched earth on the league, but at this point, it's half-time, and he's down 28-3; hopefully they can start a comeback.

And apparently that wasn't enough for the league.

To my knowledge, he has yet to come out and admittedly deny the claims. Until he does so, I think that it's going to be hard for him to win any case.

So what exactly did these "investigators" see that made them come up with their conclusion?

Bruises and her word? Yet there was a police report of her getting in a fight that week and mountains of evidence saying she is, at minimum, a liar.
We'll never know, the NFL is refusing to release the information they gathered.

When Thompson was reportedly told that Elliott didn’t want her at his home, she responded: ‘Ok this is what you want? Ok then, I’m going to ruin your life. You will see. If I was you, I wouldn’t go out tonight.’

After she was reportedly disinvited to Elliott’s 21st birthday party, Thompson is alleged to have told Elliott: ‘That’s worst decision you made in your life. I’m going to ruin your life now.’

Now why would a woman being abused be upset that he does not want her around?

I saw on twitter that employees at the place she had the fight saw bruises on her that night. I wonder why I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else.

Sounds like the photos, with time stamps, was the key evidence as well. It matched her story, so they were able to stitch together a chronology of the abuse. Also medical examiners look at the pics and said they were consistent with DV. Nobody is disputing the fact she is a known liar, crazy, violent, mean spirited and manipulative. But it doesn't mean Zeke didn't abuse her that week.
