I think Ryan better fits what Quinn left behind than Zimmer does. Plus, I want to try something new rather than just retreading.

The Ryan defenses are too complex and it’s been a long while since Rex has been in the game. Plus can Ryan‘s ego be in check? I don’t love Zimmer either except seeing his defense has done well against the Shanahan tree.

Cowboys have a lot of issues that needs fixing, but jerry will just put patches here and there, and end up with same ending.

Ryan. Ryan is a legit defensive genius. There are reasons not to hire, but he is a legit swing for the fences

Ryan all the way. He had success as a head coach and defensive stats to back it up. He’s the better coordinator, imo. Plus, we get to have the media circus of Jerruh Jones and Rex foot fetishes all over the media. The Ticket would have a field day if Rex showed up.

After thinking about it for a minute, Ryan.

He was an absolute stud DC in Baltimore. Granted he had Lewis and Reed and whoever playing for him, but as a HC he was able to drag a Mark Sanchez led team to championship games, and that’s impressive. His last few years were prertt poor, but maybe some time off is what he needed.

Plus his defenses are always aggressive, which I think fits the way this defensive roster is assembled.

I would give Rex a shot here.....if its only between him and Zimmer. I still think Jerry will hire Zimmer because Rex is too in your face and will intimidate Jerry and Stephen. They won't be able to control him.
