FEATURED A standing ovation for a future HOFer

I needed the belly laugh this post of driveling stupidity got me
Hard stances that goes against the consensus is not driveling stupidity

When Deion candidacy was being debated out in the voting room, those in the room said it was one of the longest debates ever. As it should have been and he should not have been voted in.

Barber > Sanders

Cowboys embarrass Deion on MNF. go look up that video. Look at Deion's pathetic attempt at tackling and tell me why this guy should be a HOF. Then there was his blatant cheating in the 1994 Title Game and I'm not talking about the famous 'non call'.

stupid claims are stupid claims not being a hard stance just no football intelligence

but what really has your knickers in a twist is that everyone is now agreeing the Jethro regime is crap and you hate that since you are an absolute homer

Dude, he was twice as good as Nate. You are looking back then on Nate with rose colored glasses. Larry was the best OL I ever saw and Eric pre injury the best RT I ever saw; but Nate was not great.
It's just an opinion. No need to get so bent out of shape.

All the way to the Hall of Fame.

The shame is that we had 3 HOFers on the same team for almost a decade and we couldn’t even win a divisional playoff game. (Martin, Witten and Tyron Smith) Not being willing or able to put enough talent and coaching around those guys is a travesty.
It should be a lesson learned . In Cap era you need to be great on one side of the ball and at least average to above average on the other side.

And while we had some really good offenses which were enough to beat average to less than average teams we didn’t have any Elite defenses or an Elite QB to beat the better teams in playoffs.

Those 3 HOFamers on offense helped us remain an offensive heavy team and a relevant playoff contender.

I mean he just says some goofy stuff….Martin over Manziel
And he says would it have mattered.
For the sake of argument who’s to say Johnny might not have had some success here. We had a pretty good offense. Maybe he could have found his magic here.

Problem was he probably couldn’t have beat out Romo. But he would have got a shot when Romo went down.

No one was having any success in Cleveland. Horrible situation at that time.

Bottomline is we didn’t need heir apparent at that time. And why Martin was the solid pick. Jethro just entertained the thought cause he worried if Johnny had success he’d be bashed for passing on him.

And to think Jerry wanted Manziel ?

I think Jethro was more worried about Manziel being a hit and passing on him. Something he’d be bashed for. And why he played it up he had interest. Plus the lure of Manziel hype and media attention.

But the fact of the matter was Jethro said on draft morning that he wasn’t drafting Romo’s heir apparent until Romo was done. And why I don’t believe he was ever a serious consideration.

Yeah I agree, this was all pure theatre by Jerry and the Cowboys. Manziel had a 0% chance of being selected by the Cowboys. I think that draft day debate was always between Donald/Shazier/Martin and Martin is the one that fell.
