Am I a bad Fan?

This is the first year in over 6 decades that feel I can really question my fandom. Everything from the front office, the coaching staff and to the players seems second rate. Yes, I'm an angry fan. So many years of "stupid is as stupid does" can wear on a fan that remembers when the Dallas Cowboys were the organization that people followed and admired, other teams tried to emulate, America's Team. I don't have that many years left, maybe I'm too old, maybe I expect too much. I feel like is it all a waste of time.
Nope.

You're only wasting your time and being a bad fan, if you wish they lose, get embarrassed to embarrass Jerry. If you wish Dak plays poorly or gets hurt, if you constantly whine about the same thing over and over again, trying to take other fans with you, etc. Those are bad fans, in my opinion. Any fan that thinks like that, takes this GAME way to seriously. If it ruins your day, it's not worth it. I was in the hospital with my dad for 10 hours, just got home to chill for a couple of hours. This forum is just an escape from real life, I enjoy it, even arguing with the haters..... Go Cowboys! Enjoy it!
You are whining about the same things over and over.

Who are you to judge how someone desires to be a fan?

I resemble your remarks. :)

Too bad @Rockport isn't here to put you in your place...

The only place your fandom matters is in your head and your heart. The team doesn't care. The other fans who care about how you choose to relate to the team are only exhibiting their personal personality disorders.

You can't be a good fan or a bad fan. You can only be a fan or not a fan, no matter how you project that fansmanship.

No you’re not a bad fan IMO. IMO bad fans are fans that watch other teams during the lean years and then jump on the bandwagon when we have a winning record. This is my personal belief, but every fan that posts on this board in the middle February after the Super Bowl, during a 29 year drought, regardless of opinions about players or FO, is a good fan. The fact that you, and everyone else, who posts here is still engaged with their fandom show passion and dedication. Being an angry fan means there’s still some emotion and passion.
Good post. :starspin:

Everyone should feel like this at this point. Thanks for sharing. Btw I am right with you. I despise the Joneses.

don't feel bad for something you can't control, or something that the owner chooses not to control, he likes the aspect of being relevant, just not being relevant in winning

The only enjoyment I get from watching 4-5 games per year is hoping for a blowout by the team we are playing. Jerry can’t cry enough in his skybox.
I’m at the same place as you right now.

All I want to see if Jerry’s face humiliated on TV week after week until he is no longer in control of this team.

Yep, until Jerry steps down we can reasonably expect nothing based on past results.
At least we have the 5 SBs to appreciate.
