I would like Dak to prove why he got $60 million dollars!

We don’t know what the market for Dak was because it never got that far. Had they waited until he was a FA nobody else would have paid close to $60M and Jerry’s gamble would have paid off. But for whatever reason Jerry blinked.
They always blink after waiting it out too long.

Also, we know what the QB market was at the time, obviously overpriced because they waited too long.

Further, we do not know what a given team would have offered Dak, Jerry and his dumb son are not the only idiots managing teams in this league.

Regardless, they made the call but it could have been prevented if managed properly.

When he's playing at a high level we're winning games, we may have issues with him, but he's what we have going forward. We have to get in our minds that he's going to be here for a few years at best. So let's see if this new staff can get whatever is left out of him to show us he was worthy of such an enormous contract!! Show up or shut up!! Please give your thoughts

Show us all that this is yours, and you're ready to take us to the promise land

This is a perfect setup for my boys! The Horsemen.

My thoughts are we have Dak for at least 2 more seasons. The Salary Cap went up which lessens the 60 million APY (I’m still not happy with the contract but it is what it is). So we know what helps Dak succeed. Strong offensive line and strong running game. Let’s sell out and give Dak what we know works for him for the next 2 years. Dak is going to leave/retire eventually so we have a 2-3 year window before we gut the roster and start over with a different QB. I think it’s time for Jerry and Stephen to put up or shut up. If Jerry and Stephen believe he is a 60 million dollar player then show us that by going all out yo put the best team on the field.

As far as Dak showing us he deserves 60 million, I believe if he puts up 2023 numbers and is more successful in the playoffs will do it. Even the staunchest Dak critic will bend if we get some playoff success. But that goes back to Jerry and Stephen doing their job, which I’m not banking on.
1000 yard stare in the playoffs. Rinse and repeat with excuses as needed.

Jerry gets the criticism for the contract, Dak gets the criticism for grand larceny, getting money by false pretense.
You speak like a someone in the popular press. False pretense? That will get me laughing all the way to bed.

I would like you to make better posts.

Neither will happen

I would too but I just don't see it. He regressed physically this season. Bad mobility. Arm looked weak. Injured the first time he really ran, out for the season. You can fix mental errors. You can't beat father time. Sincerely hope he proves me wrong, but I think his body is toast. Maybe somebody should slip him some hgh and see what happens.

I can dumb it down for you. Dak negotiated it, Jerry gave it (BOTH ARE CULPABLE). Jerry on grounds of incompetence, Dak as he was getting a contract (length being the most pertinent issue) that would severely restrict the ability to build a competitive team for 2025-2028.

I agree with most of your point, however, .....those MENTAL ERRORS, is the number 1 problem. The regular, Deer in Headlights as he visibly loses all PERSONAL conviction/composure/leadership qualities. We go behind vrs a good defense and he just cant function.

I think that’s it. I don’t like Dak and I wanted him gone but since we’re stuck with him for at least 2-3 seasons what I want is the 1000 yard stare to go away.

I didn’t want him at 60 million, I didn’t want him for more than 30-35 million. So I’m a staunch Dak critic. For me to change my opinion of his on field play he has to show up in big games against good teams.

Now to be fair no QB can win with a bad team. So Jerry and Stephen have to do their job to help him succeed. With that being said the 1000 yard stare has to go away and he has to own the moment. Until he does that then there’s no excuses and I’m just counting the years off until he’s gone.

Isnt the stare a part of his mental make-up that he cant perform under extreme pressure. There's very little that can be done to overcome those issues......O-Lines, Receivers, Running game, Run Defense (to give him time), Secondary for field position......spend on getting all of that and still he comes up short WITH THE BALL IN HIS HANDS.

It's like saying, if we had a PERFECT team, Dak would be a SB QB. The closest we've come is 2023, that wasnt good enough and even if Jerry was able/willing to get a team of that caliber (very unlikely in 3 years, from where we are)......Dak is still there and ISNT the same QB (on many fronts, inc health) as he was then.
