I would like Dak to prove why he got $60 million dollars!

My Dakie doesn't have to prove anything. I don't care if he sucks, chokes or gets hurt. I'll always blame everybody but him. I love him that much. I painted a number 4 on yugo. I'm winning........love you dak......

He was the 135th pick in the draft, who predicted great things from Dak Prescott? Dak has tremendously overachieved in his career,

We will see. The last time he plaYED a full season he finished second in MVP voting. Brock Purdy should have won MVP that year.

I have different take here. Dak is what he is. The contract is what it is.

I am more interested now in seeing the mgmt team prove why they paid him by building a team that revolves around his weaknesses. Not his strengths, his weaknesses.

HIs weaknesses are what oppsing DCs are going to try to exploit. I hope mgmt has a solution.

Plenty to work on there. Problem it's impossible for a team to keep a team to NIL in every game. It's pretty simple: we go behind, Dak fall's apart. They could get a psychologist .....so ironic that that's what Dak's got his degree's in.
 
It all depends. Are we going to be playing a good team or a bad team when this takes place?
 
Daks body is failing and it’s clear it’s a bad contract. Jerry needs to be accountable not the guy who signed the paper the dumb owner gave.
 
Dak received market value, can't fault him nor the organization. While not as mobile as Hurts, Dak is a much better pocket passer than Hurts, but Hurts has a much better team around him. Same for Mahomes. Mahomes is a good QB, but his legacy vs what he really is, has certainly been helped by the TEAM he plays for. Football is won and lost in the trenches, and this is our weakness on both sides of the ball.

The owner made him the highest paid player ever because he's not expecting great things?
Jerry anointed him the second coming after a few games.
He's been talking about great things out of him for 9 years. Been telling everybody about his upside.
And then he paid big money when it was obvious the peak was in a long time ago. Delusional!

MVP is extraneous fluff.

Dak is mediocre at best, horrible on bad days.
Put him on the Chiefs or the Eagles and he'd still crap the bed when it counted.

Someone is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

Cut him! I think everyone knows I’m not a Dak fan. I was pretty upset when we resigned him. I feel we’re stuck with him. At least for a few years. So during those years I think it’s on Jerry and Stephen to give him a better supporting cast to make the games worth watching. What I’m scared of is Jerry and Stephen just throw money at average players and call that roster building. So Jerry and Stephen thought their job was done by extending Dak. It wasn’t.

As far as Dak goes, unless he single handedly won the Super Bowl then I don’t think he ever lives up to being the highest paid player in nfl history. JMO

This is why last year at this time I was advocating to cut Dak and role with Lance for 24 and then kick start the rebuild. Since Dak signed his first mega contract his signature win was against a losing team.

I feel there are 2 independent issues. 1. Dak is overrated and overpaid. 2. Our FO doesn’t know how to build a roster for the playoffs. Right now we can’t do anything about issue #1, we’re stuck with that. Our only hope is Jerry and Stephen can show up or shut up with the roster building. I’m not holding my breath on either issues getting fixed soon.

He is not worth it and he cant show he is worth it . Thats a pipe dream but he will do well if we surround him with Decent OL play and a good running game. Also if Defense gives short fields .
