I would like Dak to prove why he got $60 million dollars!

yeah, I'm with you chasing4, I hope we keep him until he's in his 40's. I'm like you I don't care if we ever win anything as long as dak is here. :D
 
Terrible plan. I rather surround him with better players , then let him be a bus driver. No hero ball or prove it needed. Just run the offense. That's how we win.
 
His best year was his rookie year where he was surrounded by an elite line, TE, wr, and a great RB. His best friend will be those things again.
 
we can revisit this thread after the season starts and we can't find enough guys to carry angle reese prescott. Maybe he can at the least get the rebounds of his bad passes off of the defender's hands.

The market is the market, Jerry and his dumb son could have signed him earlier and cheaper but like most wise things failed to do so.

They also could of let him walk and drafted a QB that would not eat most of the salary cap but they screwed that up too.

Best you will get is a hope that the new coach and coaches rebuild the trenches and running game while improving both sides of the ball.

Like you say, you are stuck with Dak for the foreseeable future so buckle up buttercup!

Well I guess every other quarterback not named Mahomes and doesn't have any Superbowl rings, has to prove why they are paid max dollar contracts as well.

Dak isn't the only max dollar quarterback without a Superbowl ring.

He plays at a high level against bottom feeders, against good teams,not so much.
 
Dak didn’t even earn his first contract when he was in his prime athletically with a strong supporting cast around him…now more pressure is on him to win in order to justify his contract with less talent around him.
Add to this the teams he used to beat up on and pad his stats are getting better, so there is no way Dak will come close to earning his new contract.

Because it was what Jerry offered.

Don't be mad at Dak for the contract he signed. Be mad at Jerry for offering that contract.

We don’t know what the market for Dak was because it never got that far. Had they waited until he was a FA nobody else would have paid close to $60M and Jerry’s gamble would have paid off. But for whatever reason Jerry blinked.

Yeah I won't mind that but no more QBs after round 3. Heck even round 2. No more day 3 quarterbacks. It's time this franchise actually start respecting the QB position.
