Parsons sends a 'call to action' to the team ahead of free agency

It's going to take a "basic training" wakeup call where the Drill Instructor turns the bed upside down with Jerry still in it.

I never understood this so maybe someone can help me understand. Why do star players stay in situations when they know the odds of them winning a championship with that team are low? Before you say money, they'll get paid no matter what. Why not get money and the championship
Why do you think Myles Garrett (arguably the best defensive player in the league) just ask to be traded?

I can't help but wonder about Jerry's reaction to Parsons words.
Any chance Jerry might angrily be inclined to trade him?

Otherwise, is it remotely probable to favor a positive reaction?

Yep, make it work. Micah shouldn't take a pay cut, and Capboy needs to figure it out. The Joneses have been lazy and aloof at the GM job, so no vacation and put in some work.

Exactly. People ask him to show some leadership. He actually does, being vocal about what direction he thinks the team needs to go. And people rip him for that.

You can’t satisfy some fans.
Agreed. This forum isn't exactly a Mensa meeting.

LMAO

He heard the rumors of his trade being discussed. He's going to work this angle bc I think he does want out. So, Micah is going all in on management criticism and commentary this offseason. If he says the right things and pisses off Jerry enough, Jerry will send him packing just like he did to Amari Cooper. As we all know, Jerry doesn't handle criticism of his management of the team very well.......particularly from media he supports and pays.

He certainly talks a lot. One of these days it’ll rub someone the wrong way.
